As for @jax's article, such measures might make sense in winter months when there are seasons of various viral illnesses. They cost practically nothing.

Ok, maybe not distancing exactly, although no harm in being a bit more apart in enclosed spaces, not crowding in queues and pressing on each other, when talking a bit more apart... Masks, hygiene measures, ventilation... on the other hand really not some big bogeyman. They prevent many other diseases too.

Sad that you sold out for 2 weeks of vacation!!! @jax: where it costs us nothing and doesn't significantly disrupt normal life. Freshman parties, proms, graduations, ... e.g. are in summer or early fall.

India is a breeding ground for germs, bacteria, viruses mainly because of hygiene, which they don't know; actually it's a paradise for infections!
