Pantani1, I completely agree with you here. Yesterday I was alone in line in MB, everyone in line was talking that they're getting vaccinated only because of PCT conditions, most chose Janssen vaccine to get the certificate right away. So vaccination is in my opinion already mandatory but wrapped in cellophane, otherwise we're limited in all areas.

It is important that by autumn we'll be (more or less) vaccinated and there'll be no need to introduce (at least not such harsh) measures. How it's achieved is unimportant. Yes (so you don't attack me right away), not by forcing, 'fascist' measures, ...
Regarding the new law on infectious diseases, on one hand it implements some still too mild provisions e.g. quarantine only at 40% mortality, when smallpox was already 30% (besides, the number of deaths doesn't depend only on the mortality percentage but also on the speed of disease spread), on the other hand some excessive powers.
But, the left obviously wanted the latter. Their constitutional court declared the previous law unconstitutional, now they whine and obstruct adoption. Because, obviously for them, still, boosting Janša's popularity (as I wrote a few pages back) is more of a priority than the thought that if (accidentally, we know they don't want that, at least in this time) Janša's government fell, they would have to live and manage the epidemic with an unconstitutional and bad law, while this law they're sabotaging would also give them appropriate powers.
Thus it confirms once again what I said a couple of pages back. All to help their former comrade from ZKJ! If nothing else, so they can politically live off throwing shit at the government, so it moves things forward, they then claim the merits, declare them their own and thus ennoble their political capital.

Basic mortality indicator (number of deaths per 1,000 inhabitants) in 2020 reached the highest value since we track death statistics (from 1954): 11.4 per 1,000 inhabitants.
Excess deaths 2020 for Slovenia and some neighboring countries. Slovenia ranks fourth with 3,698 or 18.2% more deaths than the previous year, statistical office RS reports even higher numbers, 3,795 or 18.8% of inhabitants.

Main doubters will of course write that it's the consequence of everything else, just not covid (suicides, impaired health system, etc.), while it's really strange that deaths coincide most with the autumn-winter wave of infections, right?

Jurček, a bit more education for you on your claims:
1. Excess deaths means practically nothing, because it doesn't account for population changes, aging population etc. Excess deaths has growth every year in developed countries. Excellent statistic, of course for fascist propaganda, comes in very handy for them.
2. Coincidence of increased deaths in autumn-winter period and impaired health system.... You don't see the connection, right? When was it hardest to get an appointment, even if you suspected heart attack? When were most urgent surgeries canceled and postponed? When did you call doctor 20x without success? When were hospitals surrounded by vans filling coffee machines? Summer 2020? Answer yourself.
3. Still waiting for suicide statistics for past years, if you mention them. Send data so we can confirm or reject this claim. Personally I know 4 suicide cases in this time, covid deaths zero.
With your logic I always remember Mujo & Haso & goldfish and that at the end, because you have goldfish, you're queer.
