Look, that's how it is. If inspectors can hang on every comma to fine bun-sellers and burek-eaters, so can an ordinary person. Are we less than inspectors? Government should write decree so it holds water.

Hočo, excellent news I'm glad that given their health condition and age yours recovered so easily, nice that you shared with us. It really bothers me that it's only talked about how many died, but about how many survived it's not talked about because that's not interesting. Now I know quite a few who were positive, but luckily all recovered only with minor issues, nothing worse, no one was hospitalized.

Don't understand your remark though. Nobody claims this disease is VERY severe, let alone very deadly. Not comparable to e.g. ebola (but quite more serious than flu). Problem is it's serious enough that without limiting transmission health system surely collapses, because in last 50 years we got used to run to doctor for every cough or mosquito bite. If you all here are exceptions who don't go to doctor even for broken bone, then these words not meant for you.

Samo, how not? Number one dummy keeps claiming that  Maybe you missed the point of my comment. Non-stop you hear how many died and if someone 35 years old happens to die from covid, it's news of the day. But about how many elderly, and also younger, survive or recover from covid without major issues, you rarely hear, right? That's why I'm glad Hočo wrote something positive.
And if you maybe remember how they scared us in March with this corona, how bad it is, oh and all that. And we were actually scared because the virus was new and supposedly very contagious. Back then panic when we had 100 infected per day, today we have 2500 and nobody worries much anymore. At least that's my feeling. I might be wrong.

ppegan, quite true what you write. The point is still how much the health system can handle, which is perhaps already overburdened anyway.
True, in spring the panic was greater, but then really no one knew what it was about. Now experts know quite well how to treat the sick, it's also much clearer how the virus spreads. But it's not even remotely clear that vaccination will provide immunity, it's unclear if some mutation won't appear against which the vaccine won't work, nor are the long-term consequences of the illness clear.
So caution is not out of place at all. I guarantee you'll change your mind if you get Lyme disease for example and there's no room for you in hospital because everything is taken by covid.

Samo, I agree with everything you wrote. I don't dispute it. I also think that before it gets better, it will get worse. The third wave is already in sight. I deeply respect doctors and nurses who are on the front lines. It's not easy for them, I know. That's why I follow the measures that make sense. Explain to me what I should change my opinion about, because I didn't understand that or what did I write that I should change my opinion??
Martin4, I see that dummy's statement about the holocaust didn't upset only me. Really sad that someone who is supposed to be a great intellectual dares to write something like that. He really needs a good kick in the ass to sober up and realize that you can't write everything. And then he calls others dummies, but he is the biggest among them. And an adult, whom you'd think has some polish in his head. But he surprises me every time with his "brilliant" statements.
