The decrease in the number of newly infected is currently unfortunately mainly due to the large number of deaths. Well, in other words, high herd immunity (many deaths are a consequence of infections). The vaccine has no big effect yet because the vaccination rate is still very low. It mainly helps prevent infections in health institutions and nursing homes (for those few who haven't had the disease), but not in the general population yet.

I agree regarding herd immunity, but the vaccine has already shown first effects. The number of infected in nursing homes and partly also overall among the older population has drastically dropped. So I correctly predicted around the end of December in this section that precisely because of that, around the cultural holiday, the pressure on hospitals would start to decrease. Primož: statistically yes, and once we are vaccinated and there is enough vaccine and the vaccination routine is more or less permanent (e.g., seasonal like against the flu), mutations will also more or less (statistically) no longer be problematic. But until then, a new strain can emerge against which vaccines are not (so) effective and it becomes dominant, then we are ... where the back loses its honest name ...

The harshest restrictions against Corona are being lifted. We'll breathe easier again. Long live savior Primož and the Slovenian government.

Probably Lino is just fooling around or mocking Primož, because if you really mean what you say, then you're a serious candidate for antibiotics

After Egyptian embalming in the nose, Chinese anal tests, now reading on 24ur we're close to pouring liquid into the mouth and gargling. Given Bučko's knowledge, he's probably tried it all??

Tinki, I understand - your command is executed. Nothing to it. Just some strange gourmet recipes you suggest. Red Bull, but these aren't jokes. Corona is a deadly serious problem. Primož only cites verified numbers, verified facts. Of antibiotics I like Laško beer the best.

Pharisees trying Christ ... that's the association I got, not that it's aimed at anyone now. With those new tests that @Becar mentions, I remembered that joke about nuns: 'grgrati and repent!'. Birth rate will fall sooner than rise. Doesn't some folk-fun song go approximately like this: "Z babam sem ga mnogo krono pa sem dobu korono!"
