Because if they mean the second, they should think again well. They can advise or discourage me, for closures and bans we have the state. Besides, someone who doesn't want to understand well-meaning advice should stay home, no closure will stop him, especially not from the SOCIETY. These closures are, mildly put, useless, what bothers me is some (wannabe) bigshots taking the right to ban into their own hands.

Nobody is problematizing visits to nearby hills in safe conditions.
You don't need to drive to the other end of the country for sour milk and sausages, as for high mountains, everything has already been said anyway.
Self-isolation doesn't mean we "isolate" ourselves from repeatedly stated instructions for safe behavior, especially important these days...

I usually post stuff on social media too and then watch "repeats" in the following days. It was like that this winter too.
But when COVID-19 and such started, I stopped tagging and if I post, I put it for my close ones only, so I don't accidentally give ideas to someone. Hills are not empty - higher up mostly people over 40, I hardly see any "influencers".
But it's a mess in our local hills because everyone is rushing - never seen so many bags, fruit peels etc - worse than in a pigsty. Before COVID there was exactly zero of that, and in the hill behind the house we all knew each other. Now it's to cry for and that's why if possible I disappear to mid-mountains, high mountains are waiting. And this snow can mess it up quickly and I'll look like a fool in front of GRS.
