Dprapr, I'm not misleading, that's the situation here. If in a town with a few thousand people there are no covid deaths, for me that's no epidemic and no crisis. And you can stand on your head with your "whoever you are", if you're socialist-raised just obey and stay obedient. I don't want chaos, because you're creating it, folks like you, and I'm fighting against it. I'd rather say you're in chaos, believing everything the authorities serve you and trembling. Because of people like you, the epidemic will last eternity. Looks like us dissenters will have to take measures to save the rest of you from fearfulness and groveling.
Your dear authorities and experts have failed completely, just look at the daily numbers, maybe you'll understand what I'm talking about.

Since from October we work from home and since then we've only met a couple times for urgent errands at work and just waved or said hi, I haven't been able to tell him yet what he says now to the fact that just me, quite an introvert who doesn't know many people, now know at least ten to fifteen people directly and some 20-30 indirectly (i.e. I know someone who knows), who got infected with coronavirus or had it.
And if there were no measures, people working hard in covid hospitals with patients, ventilators that seemed waste of money in the first wave and especially vaccines, half a year ago corona skeptics might still say "who do you know who died", but today most likely they couldn't anymore

As seen from the article, they protested, besides the most absurd reason - non-mandatory (!) testing of schoolkids (as if protesting against introducing voluntary contributions) also due to 'further closure of catering establishments'.
What did I tell you a few posts ago? They can't go for beer to the tavern!
As long as this is the main problem of corona and measures, we're good.

VanSims, have you thought that maybe they protested about schoolkids testing for some deeper reasons, say so it doesn't suddenly become mandatory like teacher testing? Or say due to wasting public money on those unnecessary tests every three days?
"They can't go for beer to the tavern" I didn't know taverns only sell beer, which you by the way also like to drink and boasted about with ice cream next to it. Why couldn't someone after work go for a beer on the terrace with those who fit, or say for coffee, juice, tea... If that's in my opinion far less risky than workplaces? What's wrong with people going for a coffee, chatting and relieving a bit? Plus not mentioning the economic damage caused by the said measure. Now maybe you don't understand the importance of socializing due to your introversion?

Question to "experts": Gentleman, 62 years old, completely healthy, because he has a company, had to mandatory periodic testing, all tests negative. Then, after prior registration and waiting a few months, he got his turn for vaccination - of course with the only available vaccine for ordinary people - Astra Zeneca, since he couldn't choose. After vaccination... he got Covid 19 or rather they discovered upon re-testing that he is infected(!).
