Looking at the average no. of infected in the last three days and I see by NIJZ table that it hasn't been this bad since the beginning of February. Isn't it interesting, lockdown, masks outdoors, closed playgrounds, regional limits, ban on doing business from companies to individuals without PCR tests, closing schools, kindergartens, certain shops, 15% with 1st vaccine... No good effect, companies in deep crisis, important that the police gets 600 new cars right now.

Slovenia dropped to 10th place in covid deaths per capita ranking. Excellent result given we were at the very world top in December. Of course catastrophic result for countries overtaking us: BiH, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Slovakia and Italy approaching. Croatia 50 deaths last day. Terraces closing. May Day holidays in Croatia in question?

The happiest beings on the planet are mice, since people have become lab rabbits. For the 2 I know they'll oppose.... one with brain transplant , since he masters everything .... everyone has the right to do what they want with their body and think with their brains.... some just lacked brains by a few inches, but that's their problem - even such must live.....

Isn't it strange that MPs are the most ardent advocates of mandatory vaccination and tests, how they like the idea more and more. And these are the same people who rejected cocaine testing, as it would be intrusion into body and privacy. Back when cocaine was found in parliament toilets, to refresh memory.

@SamoK: especially, despite all educations, degrees even from natural and technical fields, they can't find some info that doesn't fit their theories, look around and conclude logically. @gely: true, everyone has the right to do what they want with their body and nobody forces anyone to get vaccinated.

One question for some strongly convinced in a certain direction (doesn't matter pro/con). What would it take for anyone to convince you of the opposite of your firm belief? Somewhere it says - if someone came back from the dead, you wouldn't believe him that it's possible to become alive again... Because from your strong belief's view it's funny that you try so hard to convince others from their right to your right. Contradictory, slightly disrespectful - the least that can be commented from a random observer's view. lp

Andi2, you know my stance. And to answer you. Me to contra on the seriousness of the covid-19 virus would convince if I didn't have 12 close family members infected, including 2 from the highest risk groups, but all recovered fine at home without issues. On a real pandemic I'd be convinced if I personally knew at least a few who died BECAUSE of corona or if any of those 12 needed at least minimal medical help. On the sense of the measures, different numbers would convince me, which simply don't lie. It wouldn't hurt if the government, say, stopped the entire economy for 1 week, instead of introducing silly outdoor masks that serve only more sales and bribes. Maybe I'd think differently if last year in 3 visited hospitals I saw staff really working hard, not everything empty except a few ICU beds. And if masks, tests, ventilators were bought from serious companies, not from wrecked deranged junkies, Bosnian fraudsters with a criminal past, disappearing drivers with goods and involving various moms and wives in procurements. Hope I answered you at least a bit.

Thanks Becar, interesting answer. A bit different reality from mine. I know dozens of people who died from corona. Rest of black first April? As anyone wants and suits to believe. Also know hundreds of occupied beds buzzing with crowds from these patients day by day. Sure, large share die simultaneously from comorbidities and corona just kicks them into the abyss, or not even that (they just need accommodation in their illness among these patients so the virus doesn't spread to very sick people). Because otherwise with current knowledge we just don't know. I know a large part of people trying in this crazy situation to compensate the impossible - work shortage. And of course (uf, this will be the most read sentence of my comment ) I also know a multitude of exploiters of this system that arose. Maybe that's why I don't talk so much about stances, it's right that we each have fully our own - personal stance. Problem revealed by this situation is treating personal stances as decisive, influential, almost legislative. Raving, threats and brandishing them on the forum. You're guilty for buses of death, him, Janez... Then the situation looks like a butterfly in the wind on a hot highway. Personal stance is personal. Can't convince anyone with it, because historically it's almost impossible. Social stance must be given calmly, prudently and with media publication of relevant and generally useful opinions and news. Because with the spread of the web that's no longer possible, we're where we are. In chaos, informational, personal, health and political. If I understand correctly, that's also the point of your comments. Indignation that chaos only deepens. Especially since you belong to the group of people who went through the illness with feelings of three squats by the bed in the morning. And that's also good and interesting to know that such stories and opinions exist regarding the arisen situation. P.s. regarding politics I purposely no longer comment. I just mock it. Because the painful reality is such - if anyone of us were in their place, things would be almost the same. We just have to look into our heart and admit that on numerous areas of our life we act identically. Especially if we must do some project in a group of at least fifty different people. Each their own corner and interest. Each their own pocket and like rats on the Titanic. Yes, me too. lp

Insightful comment Primož. If I directed my above bunch of words with a bit less emotions - interesting, the inquisition came to my mind too. Fully personal opinion - a combination of both awaits us. Science and state won't be able to give all answers and protect chaos. But people need solid support in hard times. The alliance period returns. Because supposedly back then in the bright middle ages it was easier for us

Andi2, don't take this as an attack on you, but when you say you know dozens dead from covid, there are only three real options here. Either you work in a covid ward, nursing home or morgue. Because if I expand my social circle to all friends, still no one knows anyone younger than 80 who died with covid, let alone someone who knows someone who died FROM covid. No matter how hard I try, I can't find that connection. Say I've got such incredible luck!

I live in a town with a few thousand residents. Here everyone knows everything about everyone and more. I even know exactly why the guy nearby died last. Traffic accidents also took lives in our town last year. And lo and behold, out of these few thousand residents no one knows of anyone who died from covid. Maybe there's a medical miracle in our town?

It's right that you have that situation in your close and wider circle. Since mortality is measured in percentages, you'll need to reach at least 200,000 people for relevant info to find one or two. In plain terms - comb through Ljubljana. Long- or short-term invalids after the illness you'll find quicker. There are some stories on this forum too, including mine. My opinion is that no one has changed their mind yet by reading a stranger's opinion on the forum. In rare cases yes, if a close relative gives you relevant data or if a parent gives you info and you're a kid under three. So us adults will stay with personal opinions in different places even after this short chat.

"Say I've got such incredible luck!" Becar or whoever you are, it's not that you've got incredible luck, you're misleading and misleading again because you want chaos. Why you want that, you know best yourself. I know at least 4 people (two close relatives) who died from this virus. Close relative is now in hospital fighting this disease for 9 days already and no end in sight. Better go out for some air and stop polluting here. If you can't find mountains yourself, ask someone to take you somewhere. It'll do you good, believe me.
