I also saw that horned beauty on Debeli vrh, and another less horned one nearby. 
I hope the path to the summit stays "marked" just with cairns for long...

The day was just waking up when I arrived at Planina Blato. Nice, this road saved quite a few steps. I hadn't even put on my shoes when more cars pulled up behind me.
I hurried towards Planina Laz. No one was to be heard behind me, obviously they had other routes planned. I'm going to Debeli vrh today. I visit it every year. I got a bit mesmerized by it 
When the slope towards Laz flattens a bit on the path I surprised a roe deer. Barking in long jumps it rushed under the path, into the shelter of bushy spruces. Boy was he angry, he kept barking angrily well hidden among the spruces for a while. I leaned against one of the spruces, took a little breath and listened to his barking. The path ahead across the plain passed quickly and I was already at Planina Laz. It was still in the shade, I continued
towards Lazovski preval. I spotted two chamois, one quickly retreated, the other didn't let itself be disturbed. When the trail turned left towards Debeli vrh I stepped into the sun. Very warm autumn sun, even the breeze was warm.
The views were getting more beautiful, so I slowly continued towards the summit. Just before reaching the forepeak I met two hikers who were already returning. They started the ascent in the dark.
I descended through the notch and continued to the summit. There I looked around a bit and spotted a couple of young ibex. I didn't stay long at the summit, returned to the forepeak and treated myself to a looong rest I wasn't in a hurry anywhere, the day was nice, warm, just the wind occasionally picked up.
I returned the same way back, to pl. Laz and on to pl. Blato.
It was another nice day in the mountains

Fužine pastures and peaks above them are worth visiting. I recommend them to you mailman, it's nice to explore around there

Today I went Planina Blato - Pri Jezeru - Planina v Laz to Debeli vrh, return past Planina Krstenica. A bit below the summit I decided to descend via gully with winter gear, snow below hard, above powdery.

The real winter approach goes behind right into pronounced gully, behind the highest head of Debeli vrh forepeak. But now it's better that you descended the less steep slope, because for steep gullies there's currently still too little snow.

I.e. the gully that connects with the notch between the summits of Debeli vrh, probably the right one. Above you reach the highest point of the valley Za Debelim vrhom approx 2240m, which you bypass left on scree the rocky edge 50m and spot up the entrance of steeper gully.

Isn't that gully between the two peaks a bit too steep for normal access (at least as far as I remember from dry periods)?
Otherwise, if I got it right, LG descended via Rdeča škrbina?

Today on Debeli vrh from Planina Blato. The path is nice and little crowded. Otherwise in Bohinj and surroundings real tourist rush. The notch between the two peaks is not problematic as you can nicely bypass it on the left side when you reach below the summit and the bypass requires just a bit of care on the scree on the path, then up to the top without issues. View was nice, lots of people on Triglav, Kanjavec also quite visited. Descent was spiced by sudden thunderstorm and downpour in form of heavy rain and hail. Haven't been so wet and battered for a long time. Weather forecast in Julijci sucks. Poured like from bucket more than half hour. Lucky there are wooden huts in the valley where I took shelter all soaked and changed. Nice tour, recommend it. Path marked to junction for Vodnik hut, then with cairns and trail clearly visible so no major issues with route finding.

Yesterday I went up the valley behind Debeli vrh through the red gully to the summit. All approaches are dry, but in the valley behind Debeli vrh there's still quite some snow, so caution needed in places due to awkward runout. Hardly any cairns left in the valley and I got quite lost, as if first time, though third time there, can't rely on any footprints except chamois. Red gully is very crumbly (much more than I remember from 4 years ago) and I don't recommend it neither up nor down (as some guidebooks still say), southern approach is much nicer, safer and more comfortable.
Wanted to climb the summit via north ridge, but since I don't know the actual difficulty (at least not compared to the detail from the notch between the two peaks), plus strong wind yesterday, preferred the tried variant.
And in this heat obligatory early start, I was at summit at 10am, and on descent already almost unbearable.

This morning on Debeli vrh from Planina Blato and back via Planina v Lazu. Path without issues, no snow anywhere anymore, notch also no issue. From summit great views far around. Few hikers only on my return between Lazovski preval and Planina Blato, on Debeli vrh completely alone and first since 20.7 according to logbook. On my return via Planina v Lazu summits started wrapping in fog, so worth being early. Pics follow...
