Today after a long time back to Donačka Mountain, circular via the cables up and down towards Rudi's hut. Path quite slippery due to yesterday's rain and towards Rudi's hut even more so, quite eroded path that needs some repair, since many new paths or shortcuts have already been made, which are not suitable for a mountain trail.

I'm a regular guest at Donačka and what they did to the path last year is infuriating. This wasn't done by real mountaineers but ordinary show-offs who don't give a damn about nature, but only brag about some speeds and I don't know what else. And everything is nicely written on the signs, but nothing sticks.
Please take PV no.5/09 p.50 and read the contribution: BETWEEN DROPS. Let them think a bit what they're doing and what they'll leave to our descendants.

I fully agree, what they did to the path is really unsustainable, now I hope the members of PD Sloga-Rogatec will get active and put the path back to normal, since with more visitors more people visit Rudi's hut and thus earn a bit more too. To all hikers visiting Donačka mountain I urge you to stick to marked paths.

Yes it's true I agree with you too.They succeeded because they don't care about nature and other hikers around them nor that here is marked the first PP in Slovenia.I don't know if the PD responsible for path and hut is still functioning or the responsibles have other interests for not acting.I notice also that huts where vehicle access is possible become bad inns.Racers-diggers don't destroy everything around you.Responsible PD should try to preserve heritage so we leave something nice to descendants too.There's still little time for action.

Today, after a long time, with a friend back on Donačka gora, classically up the ravines and down towards Rudijev dom. On the path everything as before, some still plow shortcuts and destroy paths, on top of that motocrossers and quads have started plowing forest paths, don't know where this leads!

Today renovation works started on Frolich path to Donačka gora, which is very praiseworthy, hope hikers will now stick to the path and not make shortcuts anymore to improve walking time! Photos from today's action I saw on the portal;

Yesterday afternoon after some time visited Donačka gora again and was very impressed by the length of the repaired path. Too bad I didn't know about the action, because I would definitely join and bring some GAMS too. Important that the action continues, so all participants deserve praise. Let's reward them and use only the marked path.

On Thursday, 10. 9. 2009, right after 16:00 there will be a work action transporting wood further on the path to Donačka gora. Whoever has time can join the work.

Renovated path bore fruit; today in wet, leaf-strewn very slippery terrain but on renovated path no problems and slips, so once again praise to all who participated in renovation hoping next year continues to the top. But some still seek shortcuts for better personal times, achievements and self-praise, well what can we do, people are different.

Today with colleague again circular: Stoperce, zajle, summit, down then on new arranged path. Newly arranged path is super and very bold action for this time, when some disregard everyone and by crossing ruin others' work. Then you can hear their PEARLS in the hut or elsewhere what they know about mountains, not mentioning times. Don't know if they know purpose and meaning of marking.

Enough now, I can't stand seeing this shame on top of Donačka anymore! Got a new flag, need a couple strong ones to lift the pole, screw it back on, then tea in the hut.
Give date and time when we meet at the top to wash away this shame and tear into something sensible.

Bravo Lajči, just need to check with Pišta then I'll let know date and time right away. Write if possible during the week cuz on weekend I work mornings. You know we were just talking this Sunday about changing the flag cuz it's really a shame. Really good idea.
