Actually in reverse order as the title of this topic, yesterday I headed out on a wonderful 'late summer day' .
Since they are renovating torrent diversions to the lower station of the cargo cableway to Kok. sedlo, I parked right after the turnoff to Kam. sedlo. While prepping for the start, two tanned Croatian youths walked past me wanting to go to Grintovec.... Well, besides those two, in ten and a half hours I saw only three more people. Really I don't get it at all. I won't talk about the pleasure of walking in the fresh morning, with all-day excellent views, about the rock that is warm when you climb it.
Before the hut I change clothes, quench my thirst and easily towards Jamam and Dolcem to the bivouac in Kočna, repeat the drill. I almost didn't continue, so pleasant it was at height 1952... The most annoying part of the path was the scree to the entry into the wall of Kokrska Kočna. Already in the initial part rocks are heavily debris-covered, as there was recently a small landslide higher on the approach. Also bolts holding cables some pulled out (not from landslide), one on Kok. Kočna, at least three on the connecting part between summits. On both summits light breeze, so the sun wasn't so scorching as recently on Razor or Oltar. On the first summit new logbook, on the second heavily crumbling, obviously second summit more accessible to irresponsible people. On Grintovec I'd abolish it or allow entries only weekdays and winter, almost full, last visit two months ago there wasn't one yet. One more thing. Please caretakers of the boxes, don't put inkpads in them, I found many logbooks stained and ruined by them. Whoever intends to stamp, let them carry it with them.
Plenty of time, nice weather and exploratory urge led me also to the nearby summit of Jezerska Kočna called KÔLES, some seven meters lower. Small steep rubble full of metal that attracts lightning. Continuation to Grintavec nice scrambling, only the last steepness again gravel. Then descent to hut, pick up dry clothes and in shade to the car, which also had little company.
Since I was a bit longer, also due to favorable photo conditions, pictures somewhat more than usual.
