Hello, can someone recommend a summer gojzar that is as light as possible but durable. Now I have Alpina Diablo but for summer it seems too heavy, otherwise very satisfied with it. Looked at Proalp Stol model but don't know the brand, read they are quality and all look good to me. Thanks for help.

Last year I bought La Sportiva shoes at Iglu, because at Alpina I didn't get suitable ones. And walked really a lot in them. For me ok. Summer, light and durable.

Scarpa Marmolada - lightweight, comfortable and durable, maybe they could breathe a bit better.. They have them at Kibuba. Similar properties should also have one of Salomon's Alp models (GTX maybe), they have them at Intersport.

For two months I have been using mountaineering boots Karrimor Brecon... Already a few hundred km behind me and thrilled with them. Vibram sole for reliable step in all conditions. Extremely light and direct on all grounds. Wear practically none...

I also had some Karrimor gojzars, they completely blistered me every time, and I even had a flood in them if I stepped in a puddle. In the end I had them only for kicking snow, and even then I got blisters. With the greatest pleasure I threw them in the container. Now I have the classic Tibet from Alpina, and I'm satisfied. So far they haven't soaked through, but it's true that they haven't faced a tough puddle yet.

Today I wore Alpina Tibet boots - winter ones. I walked quite a few hours in the snow. They are not new. And I had dry feet. They didn't soak me at all, though the snow wasn't dry.

Just so no one accidentally thinks that for all-day hiking on wet snow you really need winter boots if you don't want wet feet! Winter boots are useful (sometimes necessary) only for extreme cold or technically demanding hiking/climbing.

Drying and wringing? Didn't you recently advise someone to get married?
