Little climber, it's really worth visiting Mozirska planina. And not just because of the nice paths, views, flowers, but if you're lucky, like I was yesterday, you meet a person with huge mountain mileage, whose descriptions and photos I happily read and admire for a long time on this side. From Žekovec I went to Janez's bivouac and there I met Geppo and the four-legged Floki. I too was treated to the "revelation" of point G mežikanje

. Janez, for you there really are no limits. You can do everything.
After the tour Geppo and Floki went towards the hut, I to Boskovec and past Starih stanov towards the hotel. The already beautiful pasture was even more beautiful yesterday. Nice to meet such people who respect nature and live with it.

Today early morning on Golte from Žekovec. Went to the bivouac, across Javorca, past the hut towards Rečica by Savinja, to Goličnik and back to the car. Little snow, but nice winter idyll anyway. All paths passable, bp.. Best regards, safe travels!

Yesterday while driving to the mountain Zlatko calls me to come with a friend to my neck of the woods. So I park a bit lower at Gosteče and we meet at Planinska raven.
We decide for the path to the bivouac past point "G". mežikanje

Here and there we had to be quite careful walking due to frozen ground. Despite nice weather the cold SW wind and cold holds chilled our hands at times. Yeah, we did quite a bit of climbing too, especially under Okencem where we climbed the ferrata. Jani first time and was thrilled, especially by Sfinga. Followed by a peek into Mesarska lopa which never disappoints and a stop at Ivica in Šmihel.
Had a great time, thanks for the company.

Hello mountaineers!
We just applauded those who sacrifice themselves so we can live somewhat normally in these hard times. Thanks to them.
At my home three members work from home, one is a student and me. Two are at risk so we try even harder to respect government measures, which are good even though I'm not their supporter. Mine goes to the store once a week, as she handles it best.
So I don't pace around the house I go out, preferably to my beloved Golte. They are the first thing I see every day when I wake up. These days alone or with family. I take paths a bit differently than usual. I avoid more demanding ones that will wait for after the virus. It's always nice and different every time. I also step on some path that was hidden to me so far.
I attached pictures from the last ten outings. For all those who can't go out into nature, so at least looking at pictures you forget the anxiety a bit in this time.
I wish everyone stays healthy and that after this we will again happily gather together in our beautiful hills and mountains.

Winter and ladies never give gifts, says the proverb. The last snow shipment and low temperatures prove it. But it was pleasant to walk on Golte through virgin powder and enjoy the beautiful nature.

Nature on Golte is awakening. By this I mainly mean primroses, flowers so dear to me. Today they got at least a bit of needed moisture, as it was already very dry.
This year they started blooming very early. I found the first flower already ten days ago. They usually bloom in the second half of April and early May.
Of course some other flowers are blooming too. The already beautiful Golte are even prettier, and so are the wanderings around them. Pictures from the last eight.

Sometimes a person promises something and then forgets. That's what happened to me this time too.
About two years ago I promised someone the Tirske peči. That someone calls me a few days ago and says it's time to fulfill the promise. nasmeh

And we arranged it, even twice, because the first day was so nice.
First day we went via Lopna peč and Gamsji vrt to admire primroses, second via Lopna peč to Zgornja lopa. Primroses are blooming nicely, just small because of lack of rain. Chamois also brightened our moments on the path several times, not to mention the beautiful views, which are even better without leaves. On Medvedjak we could still walk on snow. This artificial one doesn't melt quickly. Even skiing from the top of Medvedjak.
Matjaž, thanks for the nice company.
Paths are without special features.
Pictures also from three wanderings in Požganija. Those were full of experiences too: bird chirping, stalking wildlife, admiring primroses, enjoying the sun, fixing paths, picking dandelions, photographing, reminiscing, meeting old acquaintances, especially Ivo, discovering the unknown,...

Nice weather and primroses lured us back to Golte.
The day before yesterday I was alone in Požganija. I was fixing a nice ledge. mežikanje

Yesterday I finished it and it turned out pretty good. On the descent a familiar voice calls that we'll meet at the bivouac. I leave extra stuff in the car and hurry up. We descend together.
Today we were up there three again. While waiting for company I watched chamois in Požganija from Planinska raven.
We went via Tirskih, where we admired primroses again. Chamois showed themselves too.
Then we did some scrambling in Požganija and successfully tested the new addition. Pleasantly tired and full of nice impressions we parted at Planinska raven.
