"we"(by "we" I also refer to my acquaintances around here) call this rovt "Pšenicov rovt". Even when talking, we usually say: "Parked under "Pšenicovmu".

Kozjek (above Javornik) now has a summit register. The path (to it) past Špornov zajetje is marked. The little balcony on the path through the southern slope also has a summit register. Credit goes to Jankot and Hasan.

A reminder for caution (which is never excessive):
- Summit of Jelenkamen, just over 2 meters above the middle "bench", slightly right toward the ridge edge where those few rocks are, a small viper has been staying for the second summer season. When it notices a person it immediately withdraws or freezes, still probably not safe to linger nearby in grass or even on rocks. Any panic is unnecessary.
Adding info that catching and killing snakes is prohibited in Slovenia.

Eastern path, i.e. past Šporn or via Kozjek from starts Za Stražo and Tomšičeva, due to forest logging increasingly hard to pass or follow (esp. for first-timers). Currently at ~850m need occasional improvised detours..

Path from Tomšičeva starting point (today) trodden. Higher up, quite a bit more snow. Currently: crampons needed for last ascent and descent by the cable, quite icy. Trodden also from Ukove. Cheers!

Majda, the first picture isn't exactly Mali Jelenkamen, is it? Mali Jelenkamen is the viewpoint at Pomoli, with a logbook, right!?

Chico, according to Heinz's research, this should be the Mali Jelenkamen viewpoint. I don't know how they'll sort it out. Currently the pomol with logbook is still considered M. Jelenkamen. That's why I wrote Mali Jelenkamen, viewpoint. Maybe by the next hike, Pot po pomolih, it will already be different.

Yesterday, after a somewhat longer time, again over Jelenkamen towards Pristava in Javorniški Rovt. On the path before the rovti there is still some snow in places; otherwise, spring is already knocking hard at the door. Back, as usual, through the rovti and through Trebež towards Jesenice. Best! Jeseniški rovti, Lenčkov Špik, Jelenkamen - circular path. I returned over Jelenkamen. Since my last visit, there are far fewer trees and the views are nicer. There are more benches and visitors too. From Rovti to Lenčkov Špik the path runs in solitude, amid the twittering of birds. Past Kalvarija these days, except very early in the morning, there are more and more walkers and littering too. On the Prihodi-Križovec road there is still lots of snow.

afternoon again to Jelenkamen, path mostly OK, frozen. At the top I caught some more sun further along the ridge already a bit trodden, snow frozen, doesn't sink in. Went also to Lenčkov Špik and past Pristava along the road back to the valley
