I was on Jerebica on 30 September. From Možnica valley where I started the path is initially quite easy, then climbs to sunny southern slopes, at the place with fixed cables one is torn, unfortunately no one told me otherwise I could have fixed it on the way. Quickly climb to Jezersko sedlo from where beautiful view to Western Julians opens, continue to summit, in places bushes already protrude strongly onto path, in backpack of course saw, that's why I went on this path too. Upper part of path partially in shade, good thing as sun almost too hot for this time and when reach top view opens to two giants Mangart and Jalovec, below emerald green Rabeljsko jezero. Put new logbook in box, unfortunately no one had time to carry it up before, then quickly head back. To Jezersko sedlo hand saw sings it's a joy, path mostly on Italian side but we've been maintaining it for years. Next year renewal of markers in upper part. Also from Jezersko sedlo down to Možnica clear some fallen trees from path, saw some branches and already in valley. Recommend from Možnica for these nice autumn days, from Italian side path more shady.

Best thanks for the book and for maintaining the path on our side, just so you know I've been notifying and "asking" CAI Gorizia (they are responsible for this path) for 2 years to come up and fix the path (at least I don't know what else to do, we already sawed some on paths no.654 and 625 this year because they should have done it), it would need chainsaw to cut fallen trees on the path at Rabeljsko jezero and from saddle onwards cut wide all bushes and remark entire path; another thing is this path should also be connected from our place across saddle to Možnica and main road in the "across borders-or without borders" path project between FVG-SLOVENIA-AUSTRIA because we plan with your representative Uroš Vidovic, we had meeting in spring he said he would notify P.D. Bovec-Jesenice-Rateče and others from this project, now we wait for response. ciao, Alessio.

Alessio no big deal, it would be good to meet in person sometime too, just today Erik told me at Mangart saddle about your work on Via Italiana path, congrats that you accomplished so much work in two days. As you probably know I already cleaned and marked the path from Mangrtska planina to Vraška Škrbina three years ago, so there's a nice connection there, it would be good to do some promotion of this path, but as you say it's probably also under CAI Gorica jurisdiction. I'd ask you to put a sign somewhere near upper Belopeško lake that the Slovenian path in Mangart is currently closed. Nice regards

Triglavski, I met Alessio when my husband and I were returning from Pico di Mezzodì and he was just checking the start of the path if it was maybe damaged after the severe storm that was in that area at the beginning of September. Very pleasant and caring guy, hope you meet soon. But something interests me: where do you work triglavski, since you're always only in the mountains?!

Somewhere I caught that he's a policeman. But given the union's whining how the poor guys are overworked and especially on weekends "gasping for breath", it's hard to believe....

Police performs various tasks also in the mountains so no mistake. If you're also a mountain lover and combine pleasure with usefulness, all the better.

triglavski: yesterday I installed a sign with warning in 3 languages at upper Belopeško Lake (over bridge, on forest road where other signs are too); Vraška škrbina? is that sedlo Ursic - sella Ursic where usually goats and sheep graze and is near path no. 511? tell me so I can explain to you later. Dogna: hi, how are your tours in mountains going? check nice autumn tour to VETTA BELLA cuz I wrote it (waiting pics), Sunday I was in that valley cuz we helped carry material to hut BRUNNER (it's for maintenance) and then I (alone) watched peaks vetta bella, pan di zucchero, sedlo forcella alta di riofreddo path no. 630 (about this protected path I'll write something special cuz we finished maintaining it this year) etc. it's always nice in mountains!!!!

Thanks alessio for the sign, Vraška škrbina or Portella, from there the path leads to Rajbel, and past Šoberja to below 5 špic and of course to sella Ursic (sedlo Čez Stože). I did a nice circular route from Remšendol a few years ago, up via 520, back down via 511.

Is there any guidebook for Julijce that are in Italy in Slovenian? I have some guidebooks where Western Julijci are described, but in most of our guidebooks path numbers as marked in Italy are not listed. Thanks and best regards!

Ciao triglavski, paths nos. 511 and 520 are "ours", this year we widened them again with a motorbike and repaired-installed signs, connection to mangr.planina would be nice, I'll wait what PD Bovec via Uroš Vidovic will plan, in this plan "poti brez meje" we offered so far 4 connections: 1)planica-over vratico- rif. Zacchi upper belopejsko jezero 2)upper belopejsko jezero-biv. Nogara-sedlo mangart-koca pod mangr. sedlu-pl. mangart- predil 3) path no.653 -sedlo mirnik- možnica - log p. mangrtom 4) nevejsko sedlo - sedlo prevala-pl. krnica- bovec; mr. Vidovic said he gave these 4 connections apparently to each PD (k.gora- ratece-bovec...), now waiting via him for answer on possible variants, other ideas etc. best regards.

Yesterday I set off late at 8 am to Jerebica. The path itself is in good condition but requires quite some fitness. On the way back I noticed that some hikers turned back before the summit. The sun also did its bit, burning hot. Super weather, few people.

Nearly ... I started quite early, in Možnica valley, where the path from the parking lot continues along the road, then before the hut in Možnica turns onto a forest path, great at the start for fast pace, but soon starts steeply climbing and doesn't let up until Jezersko sedlo. Up to here no problems and very fast, further snow patches and I was here for the first time this time and managed to find the path for a while, then reached a larger snowfield... up and down left and right, but didn't find marks or path ahead ... Otherwise path OK, somewhat overgrown in places, ascent time exaggerated and in summer can be too hot for the climb, but I'll surely come for the summit

I regularly follow Rozka on this forum. She is a woman who has huge mileage and experience in the mountains. Many of us men, you included, can tip our hats to her. Given how she decided in the given situation, your comment is inappropriate and unnecessary. The question arises, who actually has an empty head? No offense.

Yesterday 21.5 I went from Možnica to Jerebica, also my first time. As Rozka mentioned, to Jezersko sedlo excellent path, further snow patches and labyrinth where we lose marks. On Rozka's ninth picture I went straight ahead then right over the small ridge, where I got back to marked path, but it turned to the north side where still steep, so I went right over the ridge and arrived below Jerebica, further no major issues. Srečno
