On the last day of October, I use it to visit Jerebica from the Možnica direction.
I start walking at 6 o'clock (new winter time), when it is still dark, but soon it starts dawning. The first part of the path is easy walking, just right for the body to warm up slowly. On the secured part of the path the cables are in good condition. On the whole path to the Jezersko saddle I met no one, other hikers came from the Italian direction. At the Jerebica summit I stayed quite long and enjoyed views all around, which are really beautiful. On the return I also visit the Gorenji Krivi rob summit (2008), which is just a few meters above the marked path and a pathlet branches to it. Then descent to the valley, where I make a small detour to the small pools of Nemčlje (aka Možnica).

Finally Jerebica appears. First one must descend a little downhill and then the last ascent to the top follows.11

Bluffing creates fog, in which eventually everything disappears, and that is almost the only thing that still happens nowadays. What is still genuine, important, and entirely real in human contacts? (Andrej Grabar) It is true that on the 13th we went from Bela voda, for the first time on an unknown path all the way to the Jezersko saddle. Further on, everything was known. Below on the signpost it says four hours of walking, where the path branches off to Monte Robon, which we did not even know. At the little bridge where we parked, they installed a barrier. And a lot of warnings. What is allowed and what is not. The path is quite steeply laid out. In the forest, there are plenty of marks. So as not to get lost. The weather was what it was. Fortunately, without precipitation. And at the top, it cleared a bit down towards the lake. But now, with so much flowers, you almost forget that you are walking on a path without views. We still had some on the descent. When we were already the only hikers, the sky took pity on us a little. In the end, both quite satisfied with the new path and a really nice tour. If I compare both paths, I like the one from Možnica better, although it is longer.

8.7.2023 the barrier was raised, a parking meter was installed but it didn't work. Payment is possible only with coins and cards.

.....interesting, I parked at the Bele Vode parking lot for the Jerebica start in mid-September, everything still worked, also the parking meter (8 € for the whole day)

In Italy in October they can surprise with a closed road too. Usually they fix things before winter or haul wood.
Under Visoka Preža they recently did a big renovation of two huts, one roof too. Here not so fast.
Nowhere (various spots) was there paid parking. Prices everywhere lower than in Slovenia.

Right, dprapr. Here hiking is becoming elite tourism (Bohinj show-offs) etc. This behavior is slowly backfiring, no staff for huts, trails not maintained anymore, people prefer neighboring countries where welcome.

Probably the same as elsewhere in winter. Ice axe, crampons, maybe snowshoes lower down if sinking. At least a prior dry ascent on the path is recommended, so if no track you know when, where and how to turn.

Since it's Italy, avalanche triplet + insurance (PZS, OEAV,...) + certificate from insurer that it covers rescue. Without this gear and papers it's a violation in ITA, fine up to 150€.

Today on Jerebica from Možnica. In the middle section to the scree below the saddle high grass and poorly trodden path. Most of them came today from Beli Vodi.
