Yesterday from the Italian side up here. The trail is well traceable, no orientation issues.
On descent we climbed from the trail to the 5-min distant Gorenji Krivi rob.
Excellent views, excellent company cool

This afternoon from Beli Vodi to Jerebica. At 1950m need to be careful, there's some snow and fog makes it worse.

When I come out of the forest the view towards Viš opens

Fog and wind have painted larches and dwarf pines white

Some snow remains and will soon wait for new snow :)

Rabeljsko Lake...whole 5 seconds I saw it :)

Does anyone know how conditions are or if there's still any snowfield on Jerebica from Beli Vodi.

Was heading there last Saturday, but ended at Gornji Kranj rob. On the way to the saddle there were about 3-4 snowy spots, with considerable steepness and non-negligible edge cornices.

25.6. 2019. Nice day on the holiday. And lots of hikers on Jerebica. Almost all came from Rablje. Only our four from Možnica. From the top nice views, well as always when there is no fog. But the stuffiness was felt in the air. Almost too hot even on top. Snow on the path almost gone. Just one small snowfield that you can cross nicely. Flowers still plenty. Especially below the summit a real rose garden. Descent the same path to Možnica. Total 17 km and about 1600 m gain. Met a hunter mowing grass on the path further where the cables end. Otherwise the path is well traceable and markings visible. Condition-wise quite a demanding hike, especially in such a muggy day hiking steeply to Jezersko saddle.

Today to Jerebica from Jezerska dolina. Path without issues, no snow, but very hot. How it'll be tomorrow.

No, then Jerebica is no longer solitary either. A few years ago we met only 2 hikers on the path.
Visits to pastures have greatly increased in recent years. Since I like solitary paths, I'll have to look for off-trail routes...

Yeah yesterday I met one Carinthian and two Italians - we all came from Beli Vodi. Path nice, scenic, for me the most annoying part from ca 1350 m to Jezersko Saddle. Otherwise incredible views.

For the holiday on 25. 6., mostly Slovenes came from Beli Vodi. Quite a few young people were seen on the top. smile

This Sunday after Saturday's Velika Bela Špica also to Jerebica. On top big disappointment, no stamp, it's stolen! Does anyone know if you can get the Jerebica stamp somewhere, where they keep it?

Really don't understand why some scoundrels steal stamps from summits and how some hiker can leave trash in this beautiful pristine world. How do you have the heart to litter this nice mountain world like that, is it really so hard to carry your trash back to the valley???

Thanks in advance to whoever has any info where the Jerebica stamp is. Uroš

Cima del Lago or Jerebica, 2126m high peak delights with views of Rablj Lake, Robon, Montazh and other mighty alpine peaks. Due to snowfield complicating the path after the saddle, ascent takes up to half an hour longer. The trail frays in places and literally detaches from the rock, but with caution everything is manageable, views gorgeous. Summit not exposed, no crowds, but no stamp, only logbook. Still worth going.

On Saturday early morning from Ključ through Možnica to Jerebica. Solitary and mighty mountain offers nice views the whole way. Most visitors choose Jezersko valley as start. Aids in excellent condition, markings too. From saddle on, caution needed, some spots exposed and slippery when wet. On return visited Gorenji Krivi Rob 2008m, then in valley Nemčlja/Možnica spring and big waterfall and gorges.

P.S. if anyone can, bring new logbook to top, current one full end of August.

Jerebica 10.7.2021. From Možnica. After two years early morning with Maks on forest path. Already at start steep past hut in Možnica. Before that filled water for dog as none on path. Story repeats. Many hikers from Rablje. From our side a boy and girl overtook me. Up in forest fallen trees. But trunks sawn, path traceable. Only one bend needs detour and if you don't know path you can stray. Those two hikers went too far right and spent more time to Jezersko Saddle. They told me on top. Otherwise not much changed on path. Tall grasses. We went directly under Jezersko Saddle on grass. From fork quite a few on path to top. On top a bit cold. Views to Rablj Lake. Descended same path. Very stuffy in forest. But interesting Saturday tour.

And there's still some steepness to there.

Where hunters probably cleared trees so the path was visible.

Today my long-yearned wish for Jerebica was fulfilled, ascent from Beli Vodi.

The whole day we met less than ten hikers, two started the ascent around noon, ideal in this heat and storm forecast... rolling

To the saddle almost the whole time in shade, path slippery. From the saddle it drags to the top, which gave us a few minutes of all-round views, then fog rolled in and enveloped us, so we descended. Descent due to "slipperiness" and slope almost as long as ascent but safely to the car. Really felt the saying that you're only halfway at the summit... Lying on the beach and refreshment in Rablje Lake perfect! smile

Need to replace logbook, full since last year - which club covers the peak? No stamp.

After a long time back on Jerebica, this time from Beli Vodi. Path no problem, just warning about slippery rocks on open parts. Most of the path is in shade and there is fairly inconspicuous mud. By the way, some gymnastic feat is performed smile

. A little snow lingers in the saddle under the summit head, but does not obstruct passage.

Followed path 653, first through the forest, then across open terrain

On the opposite side of the valley the giants are already sunning themselves

Signpost at Jezersko Saddle. Here the sun rays warm us for the first time

Jerebica. Below in the saddle there are still snow remnants

Fog bands have been lingering all day around 2000 m

Mud that Rio Lago brings into Rabeljsko jezero

Already returning. We met only two hikers.

The beeches will soon lose their leaves too

We're wrapping up. Despite the nice weather, there aren't many cars

1.7.2022. From our side from Možnica with Maks. Path known to both. Through forest. Past the closed Možnica hut. Then into scrub, where there is a steep section of the path. Continuation through high wet grasses. Trail very poorly visible. Due to overgrowth. Last steep part to Jezersko Saddle. There we met quite a few hikers who came from Beli Vodi. Then another 1.5 hours to the top. No rain. Very nice views. Wind blew the whole way. Not as hot as in the valley. On descent, the hiker in front of me warned about a black snake sunning itself on the path. When they passed by, it didn't even move. Only when I photographed it did it withdraw. Long but extremely nice tour.
