Juliana Trail - stage 6, from Pokljuka to Srenje vas. Wonderful path, most of it through green meadows bathed in sunlight. Only the markings are old signposts and at the end added J and A. On darkened wood they are sometimes poorly visible. Head out to some part of the path or enjoy the beautiful photos, (click on link). Only on foot can you see all the beauty of nature at this time. Beautiful, very beautiful.nasmeh

I have a message (experienced in practice), that overnight stays are very expensive compared to the Camino Frances trail path. "Albergues" here, compared to Spain, absolutely incomparable in price ratio.

Juliana Trail - stages 6 and 7, from Srednja vas to Bohinjska Bistrica.. Through villages, past the lake, Ribčev Laz settlement. Past the ski jumps in Polje, wonderful views of green meadows, beautiful houses along the path, flowers on windows, wonderful. When you take steps through this landscape you only then realize how beautiful our country is. Nature is wonderful. Let this be a hike for you too and enjoy with me, it will be nice. Juliana Trail - stage 8, from Boh. Bistrica to Podbrdo...The path to the top of Bača is well marked, nice. Views are rarer, across meadows runs a poorly visible trail, right next to the forest. At the last marking for Sorisko left, we go along the road further. The hunting hut Za Malim vrhov is just a little before Vrh Bače. Below the saddle there is another hunting hut. Super for rest and views, if there are any. Mine were taken by fog. Descent into Baška
grapa is gravelly at first, then a nice mule track. At the church of St. Lenart, in Bača village, markings to go past the church. In Podbrdo then waiting for the train, as there are no other options from that side. Solitary hike mostly through bushes. Didn't meet anyone, and the path is quite long. Click on link and hike with me, it's an interesting path..nasmeh

@Majdag, did you think about going through the tunnel?
Would wait for the train in B. Bistrica.

@Majdag, Miri, I was there, but didn't dare. Don't know how much space there is next to the tracks..

It was a double-track line, until they removed one track. In the middle of the tunnel there is an interesting spring worth seeing.

I think there were never two tracks. But the tunnel was really prepared for possible later double-track implementation.

Of course it was the second track. It was removed only a few years later due to frequent flooding of the line, when they removed the tracks and made a ditch under them for drainage (that permanent stream drives MHE Lučaj before the entrance to BB).

Juliana Trail - 9th stage, Podbrdo-Grahovo... Long and lonely is this path. Autumn beauties and peace keep me company. Only the rustling of leaves under my steps disturbs the silence. Hard to imagine life in the villages in old times, high above Baška grapa. Probably they were more connected than now and shared sorrow and joy together. If you're tied to train transport you have to think a bit to make it work.nasmeh Nature is wonderful at this time, click the link and enjoy with menasmeh.. nasmeh

Juliana Trail - 10th stage, Grahovo - Most na Soči... I walked it and I'm happy. nasmeh These paths are long and lonely, and beautiful villages high in the hills. The leaves were dry, the path very varied, not too much sun and no wind either. But it's nice, click the link and wander with me.nasmeh
