Yesterday I went from Konc to Kalška gora. Where the path crosses scree under Kalška gora, there were still some snow patches on it. The first one I bypassed above on rocks, the others below on scree. Quite strenuous, but doable. Snow was soft enough to kick steps. Summit at start fully in fog, later partially cleared.

Hi! Next weekend if weather allows I'll ascend Kalška gora. Any more snow patches on path? Where? Since likely heading from Konc, also wonder if road there now closed. Thanks for reply!

In my opinion they didn't hinder access even then (and when I wrote previous comment in this thread, could bypass them). No other snow patches besides those in pic on path from Konc already month ago.
Month ago road was open and in good shape, don't know now though.

I was there 9.6. from the saddle. Then only across the scree a bit lower under the snow. So no snow problem.

From Žagana peč to Kokrsko sedlo and via abandoned ferrata to the top.
Descent via hunting path over Kalce.
Road to Konec is arranged. Parking lot too.
Since I was early, no excessive heat.

As far as I know, the ferrata was made along the Levstek-Zupet II/III route from 1949.
So, if you don't climb the pitons...

Not quite "from yesterday", so larch colors have probably changed...but there was no other post about path condition after this year's disasters.
Well, the path is somewhat affected, nothing serious though. Worst right at the start where a part was washed away. Further just a few fallen trees across the path.

Hi, does anyone have info on the condition of the path to Kalška gora from Kokra valley (Roblek)? Especially due to floods in the last year I'm interested
Also, is there a spring at Dolga njiva highland or somewhere else on this path? Thanks!

Via Dolga njiva should be all ok, via Kokrsko sedlo both paths are closed.

Of course there is a spring at Dolga Njiva highland. Just a couple hundred meters off the path to the right into the hill.
