The day before yesterday, after a long time ...
Above Suhadolnik into the widest gully and directly to the top of Kalška gora. Breathed in the scent of thyme and eyes feasted for quite a few days!

Kalška gora, 13/6/2020

We started in Konec, where there were quite a few cars, but we still found a parking spot. Nice walk through the forest, where higher up you lose the shade and continue on a well-trodden path in the sun to Kokrsko sedlo. They just opened Koco on Saturday.

Then we put on helmets and approached Kalška gora. Interesting that Kalski greben is a much higher peak (visually) and that the names are placed like that.

Descent the same path - no peculiarities. Just one small question for experts:
Why at approx 1300m altitude on the path are some rocks or bends marked with numbers 9, 10, 11, 12, 13? No logical connection noticeable?

You made me laugh, Luka! Kalški greben isn't only visually but a 170m higher mountain. But it's a ridge, since it's almost 3km long, mountain 300m.
Those numbers under KS are from the times of mountain-running races to Grintovec, when workers repaired the path. (not sure)

Afternoon via hunting trail to Kalška gora. Descended past Cojzova koča back to start.

Forenoon from Konc still relatively dry past Cojzova to the summit. Descent same path.

Yesterday we broke the trail to Kalška gora via Kalce. Snow starts 20 minutes above the hunters' hut, knee-deep sinking behind the walls. The fixed rope is now almost fully dug out of the snow, on the ridge it's windblown and icy - highly recommend winter gear. Since there was no wind, our track probably remained.

Today I ended up on Kalška gora. Up via the hunting path past the hunting hut, down via Kokrsko sedlo.
The path is nicely traceable, once out of the forest from cairn to cairn to the marked one from Kalški greben.
A bit of sunshine, some fog and clouds, anyway a bit mixed.
Quite a few foreigners I noticed, and even one in sandalszmeden

Yesterday Kalška gora bathed in cloud mist. I climbed to the summit via the hunting trail over Ovčarija and from there to Kokrško sedlo. Sunday, 30.01.2022 - "Over Kalce"
Start at Žagana peč. After poorly visible entry a quite nicely trodden path. To the hunting hut here and there a patch of hard snow. From the hut onwards the snow blanket is in places quite well frozen. At the end along the marked path to the ridge and to the top of Kalška gora. Descent the same path.
