for all those planning to spend New Year's in the Dom na Kamniškem sedlu. The hut is open but rooms are not heated and you also have to bring your own food.

Vespa, I don't know how the path to Jermance looks, because I usually start in KB. Towards Brana on Monday no tracks were visible, but there were two beautiful days in between...

The road at the top of Jermanec is icy. If you must go up by car, I recommend chains.

After a long time posting again. Today decision made to go to Kamniško Saddle. Weather ideal, company great, plus no wind, real rarity at Kamniško Saddle.velik nasmeh

The path is OK. Today I'm going up, I'll be on duty, hut open till Sunday.

Hut open, few people though. To Jermanca without major issues, snow starts a bit below Pastirci. Morning hard, noon softened, crampons not needed. Pleasantly warm and no wind, really sorry for anyone who stayed in the sticky valley from which the fog didn't lift at all.
