Kocbek Hut on Korosica 1808 m

Current conditions on the Dleskovska Plateau and surrounding peaks.

I parked at the Podvežak/Ravni junction. Down at the turnoff for Planinška there's still a no-entry sign, plus they're logging trees, but I was quite early and "overlooked" it all. The road to Podvežak is still okay.

Soon above Podvežak continuous snow starts, which was mostly concrete-hard in the morning. I headed towards Tolsti vrh and then wandered around a bit to Koroški vrh and then straight down to Korošica. Originally planned to go to Planjava, but the snow got way too soft by noon, so I turned back about a third of the way to Srebrno sedlo. With skis or snowshoes it would be much easier. (Two skiers caught me at Korošica and then overtook me.)

There's still plenty of snow, but the pictures will tell. I managed to catch the whiteout!
