Today Krvavške planine lured us, after corn mush and sour milk we got a craving. Before lunch we headed to Kompotela, which rewarded us today with an abundance of flowers and beautiful views of KSA peaks. The morning was pleasantly cool, later some clouds appeared so it wasn't too hot, as the July sun is scorching.nasmeh

The stamp is on the pole where the mentioned box is. On 1.7. it was like that.

I personally didn't stamp, which is probably under the metal tube by the box that has only the logbook without ink pad.
But the vandalism on signposts at Planina Koren is condemnable.

Has anyone been to Kompotela recently? Current path conditions?

as far as I see from my home, it's still lightly snowy. Last June when we visited it among others, no snow was visible from the window, but we still found it in the gullies, not in small quantities. Conditions there are still quite wintery and caution is needed, because if you go from Kriška, snow covers some gully too. lp

On Sunday we set off to Kompotela, but due to thick fog and especially high snow, we turned back. Snow starts already soon above planina Koren and you need to be fully winter equipped. There's more than a meter of snow.

Daisies still adorn Kompotela,
perhaps last chance for some bee,
since in this rainy summer,

Snow is south-facing and there's very very little of it, slightly frozen only at a few spots on top. Poles suffice mežikanje

Is the path well marked for us going up for the first time?

Yes, starting point Planina Jezerca. No crowd at the parking lot, still plenty of parking spots, the trail is easy to follow mežikanje
