Today I climbed from Kamne gora to the 1012m high Stolpnik, on which a 25m high lookout tower stands. I continued the path towards Skala, from where a nice view opens to Slovenske Konjice. Both the easier and the climbing path are muddy in the upper part, so great caution is needed especially on the climbing path. Along the way I also checked out Konjiški Stari grad.

Hello!
Can you describe the path to Skala more precisely. On Sunday my husband and I were on Stolpnik but didn't get info on which path to that climbing route, not even from hikers who often end up on Stolpnik.

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if there is a circular path S.Konjice-Skala-Stolpnik-S.Konjice and approx how much time is needed for this path.Thanks for info in advance.

There are many variants, but parts of the paths are not marked. The safest from Skala to three crosses (ask hikers for the path) - three crosses - Grofov štant (forest road) from there again marked path to Stolpnik.
From the top to koča Štepih (hunting hut) and along the nice macadam road back to Konjice.
Total normal walking time about 4 hours.

unfortunately I don't have an answer to the question, but I'm interested if anyone can describe the path to Stolpnik from Stranice. Where is the starting point, how is the marking.

Stranice junction, turnoff to village Čretvež 2 km to end of asphalt (farm Vok), behind the farm start of marking, also 14th division path. Nicely marked and trodden path to road Sl. Konjice - koča Štepih. From here possible circular variant, across road to Grofov štant and to Stolpnik. Or along road to hut, from there to top 20 min.

Yes I see it's an interesting tour and a pleasant addition on the secured part of the path, I have to check it out soon, because as I see from the photos it's worth it.

Konjiška gora today, not very pleasant, cold and windy, but snowdrops peeking from under the snow beautify the cold ascent.
Towards the top of Stolpnik it was blowing really strongly.
Path without special features.
Start in Slovenske Konjice, past the castle and over Grofov stant to the top. Quite an interesting path and fairly varied and scenic at the same time, but views didn't reach far, only to Pohorje.

It's a shame that the inscription under No. 6 in the first comment PD Konjice "copied" from the inscription on the large rock boulder on the path from Zavetišče pod Špičkom towards Jalovec.

Yesterday we were on Stolpnik. Started the path in Čretvež past hunting hut. Beginning not much snow, towards top more and more. Gaiters and poles needed. Top of tower strong wind, otherwise fog and cold. Wonderful hoarfrost on trees and even nicer snowy scenes along the path

I decided to go to Stolpnik today, it was a nice Sunday, nice weather, I pack my backpack and everything else that goes with it and drive to Sl. Konjice, follow the description on Hribi.net, all OK, but when I get to the top, man you can't believe it, THERE IS NO STAMP IN THE BOX!!! So my whole trip was in vain. I'd say shame on PD Sl. Konjice for not putting a new one.  ,,

Today friend Cvik and I did a circular tour of Konjiška gora. Start from town on steep mountain path to Skala, and first time ascent on the climbing path... Which is really phenomenal. From Skala past three crosses to Grofov Štant and then to Stolpnik. View was a bit foggy, could see to Grintavec west and Ravna Gora and Ivanščica east... Don't recognize south view, could see far past the alpine pasture above Celje... Back on Zmajčkova path, which isn't on hribi website yet, but it really deserves it because it's very interesting, personally more interesting to me than the one past the castle.

On Sunday we headed to Stolpnik (1012 m), which has a 25m high viewpoint tower on top.
We started from Slovenske Konjice, first to Skala on a very demanding marked path. So we conquered Skala summit (750 m) via a really nice and very well secured "short and small ferrata", which is really adrenaline 
We did a circular route: Slovenske Konjice - Skala (via steep path) - Stolpnik (via Kamna gora) - Slovenske Konjice (via Grofov štant).
Whole loop took good 4 hours. Weather sunny, almost no snow.
Since weather was warm and sunny, at end we drove to Trojane and from there to Čemšeniška planina (1204 m).
