Konjiška gora

Yesterday, 14 February, I set off to Konjiska Mountain. Goal was Stolpnik; for the approach to the summit I chose Zmajčkova path along which I haven't walked yet.

13.06. Konjiska Mountain.

Start from church in Konjice. Ascent to Skala and climbing to viewpoint. Exceptional thing,

Then from Skala left south to road, then asphalt and three crosses. Through village to pass and to Grofov Štant, and to very summit. Rest and back to Konjice, this time along Zmajčkova path.

Konjiska Mountain is beautiful and I visit it every year. This tour with climbing was also general rehearsal for this year's first high mountain thing - next weekend Ojstrica via Kopinškova path.

Today I chose the path from Žička Kartuzija and over Tostega vrh and Skala onwards across Krniški rob and Grofov štant to Stolpnik, which is the highest peak of Konjiška gora. Today the views were wonderful and my heart was tearingzavijanje z očmi when looking towards the Kamniške, but never mind, they'll come another timevelik nasmehvelik nasmehvelik nasmeh.

From the church along climbing path to Skala, then past Three crosses and across Krniški rob and Grofov štant to Stolpnik. Descent along Zmajček path past the castle to the starting point.
Path nicely marked, safety gear impeccable, weather pricelessnasmeh.

Yesterday, 10.3., I headed to Konjiška gora to Stolpnik 1012 m. Start in Slovenske Konjice past the cemetery a bit along the road then to the hiking path. In the beginning a bit muddy, higher up still quite some snow melting fast. To the top a bit tough as it sank in places to the knees. Met several hikers on top where it was windy so I didn't go to the tower.

Today on the sunny but windy Konjiška gora i.e. to Stolpnik. Path start in Sojek village and past Kamna gora to the top. Below the top they felled many trees, timber haulage made forest roads and paths hard to pass and very muddy.

Today to Stolpnik via "new" path starting in Stranice village. There is a small parking lot by the road where I started. Through Bukovje settlement and higher in Čretvež settlement I joined the marked path. It was nice to walk through the winter idyll created by freshly fallen snow.

Yesterday 10.10.20 to Konjiska Mountain from the direction of Žička Charterhouse past Three Crosses over Krniški rob to Stolpnik. Weather was excellent, quite pleasant for walking, views also quite good. Path done more quickly because I had some work at home on the field before Sunday's weather deterioration.
