Today again to Košutnikov Turn. From Dolga Njiva up the western down the eastern. Cloudless, almost no wind, not too hot. We were three, met only two hikers to the pasture. At the pasture coffee and struklji and short stop in Dovžanova Gorge. (little bridges renovated)

Yesterday we did the route to Košutnikov Turn from the Austrian side. The path is well secured, but respectable. We also went over the suspension bridge, not as scary as it looks in the picture. Nice greetings to the young local girl and the guy from MS with whom we did the route.

A holiday brings a crowd of hungry (not necessarily) hikers to Planina Dolga Njiva. With full plates hanging over the table edges, not surprising. But the parking lot was empty at the hut morning hour, and around half past twelve when descending towards Zg. Dolga Njiva, we were praised as the first (!) descending today. Only 5 more on top. More below. All satisfied. Path without special features, lower part cleared of annoying furry nuisances today. Around noon clouds from the Austrian side dragged in and settled on peaks as if they would not leave. Always a nice trip.

We too this weekend after a long time in the mountains. We chose Košutnikov Turn. Ascent via both Dolgih Njiv to the top. Nice views from the top in all directions. Descent via the shorter path to the planšarija, which deserves all praise for tasty food and beautiful flowers on the windows.nasmeh

Hello. Today I accidentally left a green Swiss knife at the top of Košutnikov Turn (under the cross). Would be very grateful to any finder. Primož 041 547 208

Today Drago and I were probably first on Košutnikov Turn but no knife was there. Too bad, otherwise nice day and nice views.

Today for 1 May workers' holiday to Košutnikov Turn. I started the path at Košutnik hut, then continued to Dolga Njiva. Then turned to the western path to the top and returned via the eastern path down. Otherwise there is some snow on the path which I had to cross. Very few hikers, only me at the top. This year I am the first signed at the top. The hut was not yet open, so hikers were a bit disappointed.

How is the path to Čajnik and the hanging bridge?

klemen125, on 17.04. I was in that area. Otherwise it was all trampled and skied everywhere. To Čajnik I went via the gully, also on our side there was a nicely arranged passage. Of course, full winter gear is needed, there was still huge amounts of snow. I returned the same way, so I can't tell you about that little bridge nasmeh If it helps...

Today on the Turn.
Caution is needed on parts of the path where winter washed away the soil and the path became very narrow. And when there is suitable depth below you....
No snow anywhere anymore.
Regards

Already before seven today on Košutnikov Turn, up and down the western route, in between also a jump to Ostrv. Weather super, views too, but I agree with what @garmont wrote about the path - caution is needed on the parts of the path washed away by winter.

There's probably still snow on the north side, so you can't do the ferrata?
