@Hribovc88: You remind me of my first demanding tours, but if you don't overcome obstacles you can't continue, so time, will and a bit of courage are needed.

For me Krasji vrh is really beautiful. Every day the first glance is to it. When you cross Polovnik and step onto Krasji vrh, you know you've done a nice path, or head to it from Drežniške Ravne, maybe even from Čezsoča. I've been going to mountains for several years but haven't found a boring path yet, always something interesting to seenasmeh.

I go to mountains when I'm most under stress and tense, that's how I relax, only the path to Krasji vrh I don't like, but the summit is exceptional and beautiful views all around

Today to Krasji vrh - almost. Start in Drežniških Ravnah, as the road ahead to usual start at trough is snowy right at junction.
In initial path section ascending through forest, little snow and compact on trodden path, at clearing crossing snow amount suddenly increases. Further more with each step and softer. So put on snowshoes. At junction Koluji/Snežna jama - don't see junction. Trodden path goes up to nearby hill, to Koluji ski track leads. Find path to Snežna jama and step cheerfully into untouched white. Lots of snow, but manage to find right path. Higher to ruins steeper. No trace of wide mule track. At ruins hike ends, can't find passage due to much snow. Even if could continue, advise against path past Snežna jama - too much snow (more tomorrow), dangerous slip on slope. Despite poor views and unconquered summit very nice day.
Thus Krasji vrh beckoned less than a week ago (view from Matajur - Krasji vrh left, Krn right)1
Today the forecasters were not mistaken - above Napoleon's bridge in Kobarid Kraji vrh powerfully arches in fine weather2

Although Krasji vrh beckons from afar, today I only head to Zaprikraj pasture. I park at the parking lot in Drežnica, as at the intersection in Drežniške ravne there is space only for 1-2 vehicles, elsewhere except on locals' courtyards there is no parking space. Snow already at the starting point more than 1 week ago, in between it snowed abundantly at least 2 times, so it doesn't even occur to me to venture anywhere higher than to Zaprikraj pasture.
Snow is very soft, lots of wind-packed snow too. From Drežniške ravne to the usual starting point at the water trough quite trampled, but later the track diverts past the pasture to the nearby little house. I assume locals go there, or maybe some new path? Further along the usual path to Krasji vrh only single footprints, which looked fairly fresh. The road completely untouched.

I follow the footprints of the predecessor (m/f). Initially without snowshoes, when it starts sinking more and more, I quickly put them on. Along the path through the forest I go only to the first branch to Zaprikraj pasture. From here I continue along the untouched road all the way to the pasture and a bit further over a small rise to views of Kanin.
It pulls me further, but when even with snowshoes it sinks twice to my butt, I turn around and circle the pasture on the other side too. Today on the pasture real paradise for snowshoeing, as despite soft snow it didn't sink too much (except at the end).

Back to the valley I continue along the same path as I arrived, so lots of untouched whiteness remains.
Don't see predecessor's footprints in reverse direction, the road isn't trampled either. Maybe another path exists. Hope they arrived safely.

Just before sunset the mountains glow in the last sun rays, mists around Krn dissipate. Another beautiful day.

Finally after a long time it worked out for me again; free Sunday and wonderful sunny day.
You can get almost to the trough by car, just not much parking space.
Snow was still firm in the morning and walking pleasant therefore. The sunshine met me deep in the forest and softened the snow blanket. The predecessor's footprints were just right, who very smartly used snowshoes. On the ridge to the summit however the snow is windblown and dwarf pines will bloom soon.
Descent was fast, although sometimes sank quite deep.

Today on Krasji vrh despite not very promising weather a beautiful day. Soothing path through greening and blooming forest, below the Koluji/Snežna jama fork still a long tongue of snow. I continued past Snežna jama, where snow still persisted in the lower part of the path, on the steep section above Snežna jama dry to the ruins and all in blooming dwarf pine. Further some snow, on the slope below the summit dry again. Snow was wet but well transformed and didn't crust, except right at the end when it broke into the void under the snow.
At the summit the sun peeked for a second, otherwise mists rolled from the valley. Highest summits persistently in clouds, Krn didn't show even for a moment.
I descended to the valley past the kolujev. To the kolujev I crossed two small snow patches, two more on the way to the forest.

On the entire path I met only four booted eagles soaring above me. Real bliss.

A bit different description: After lunch I check webcams and see hills above Kobarid "bathing" in sun, so I don't delay much and drive there, when in Tolmin I decide which peak, I choose Krasji vrh as it was without "cover" up there. Since I arrived at start around 15:50 I went up a bit faster along marked path towards summit, prepared to turn if needed more time, but reached summit around 17:15, so rested a bit, took pics, ate something, then wind picked up stronger, as in distance it was visible weather worsening. So I return along ridge to marked path, walk marked a while, then straight down through forest, so at 18:30 at car and just then rain started, all way home lightly raining. Path otherwise dry, nicely arranged, marked, no snakes seen. Soon back there and to neighboring peaks.
Here I start; asphalt road leads here, further is a worse unpaved road.1
Matajur was also among the choices.2

On Sunday 5.5. we went to Krasji Peak via this path. We parked at Zapleč pasture, but the macadam road is very bad, so I recommend everyone without a 4x4 to park below in Drežniške Ravne.

Zaprikraj pasture is wonderful, the entire path is interesting too. Some snow in between and we even cross snow in one gully, but a nice track has already been made, no problem with passing.

At the summit we enjoyed superb views, so I recommend this tour to all mežikanje

Pictures from the hike can be seen on the website of Planinsko društvo Matica Murska Sobota: http://www.mojalbum.com/pdmaticams/20130505-krasji-vrh/krasji-vrh/20747257

In the morning decision for Krasji Peak, if weather doesn't hold turn back. From Most na Soči to Tolmin quite heavy shower, but when turning to Kobarid it starts clearing. Up past snow cave, back past kolujev. Almost whole path sunny, just path very wet and slippery, last 10 min below summit strong wind too. On ascent I met only one snail who is already returning velik nasmeh .

Lubadar, after a long time the weather finally held. The sun shone full force, so the light for photography was too strong. In real life it was 100x nicer.

Clear sky and scorching sun matched by heat, softened by a pleasant breeze.

At the start I met a young couple who didn't go to the summit (assume turned to Zaprikraj pasture). No entries in summit book, so shared Krasji Peak yesterday only with sheep. Glad no shaggy beast encountered. Sheep skeleton on meadow since last fall, yesterday paw prints too, made me think. Really need to get a bell as Bohinj hunter advised last year.
