I would ask the authors of the photos for info on whether there are currently snow fields where slipping could cause serious injuries.

. Colend, I recommend you don't go to Kredarica without ice axe and crampons right now and better wait till snow melts. Nothing wrong if you don't wanna buy gear, mountain waits nasmeh

A week ago it went without ice axe and crampons. I assume they are even less needed now. Maybe it is not good to be too early, as the sun a bit later with the current strong inversion nicely softens the snow that there is.

Indian summer continues and one would think that nice conditions contribute to more visits to the mountains. Just before Kurja vas they are building a new little bridge, the excellent contractors didn't think it important to inform drivers with a sign, so back and past Psnak to the valley. Otherwise there were quite a few cars in Krma, but altogether I saw fewer people on the tour than those. I start with a small backpack at half past seven at minus 2°C. With fast walking summer pants suffice, as I knew it would be warm later and thicker ones would hinder me. At the trough above Prgarca something distracts me, after a minute of walking I realize I am on the path to Konjski preval instead of the classic one, but I didn't feel like turning back since I have plenty of time, so I continue. The path all the way to the pass leads in the shade, so there was still snow everywhere, in the lower part even ice. I really enjoyed the steepness, there was no cold anymore long ago, no wind either. From there onwards sunny exposure all the time, snow just a pinch. At Kredarica soon after ten, I don't even enter the hut, as I change clothes and snack on the warm sun on the bench in front of it, and enjoy like on the beach. I put on chains, as the snow was hard only in front of the hut and above it, where I went to photograph the surroundings. Down I remove them right at the start of the descent, 100 meters below the love bench, where there is already 90% bare ground. Understandably I go down the classic path and lo and behold, damn, at the parking lot there are just as many cars as in the morning nasmeh

Since it is midweek, I don't stop at Dani, following Ivota's inspiration only at Gorenjc and pour the belated Martin mežikanje

A little more, and the hut will be in the sun.

A month has passed, conditions excellent, will the best and here again. Almost headed to Kurja vas again, but detour past Psnak, since the little bridge surely is not drivable yet in a month, or is it?? Road quite icy, snow starts at Kovinarska, 300m before parking the tracks are already so deep that I crawl there slowly on my belly mrk pogled

At 7:20, at minus two I leave the parking where there are still five cars. Temperature rises above the first climb, snow height increases too, the path is nicely trodden. Someone did a good job with the motorbike and sawed the annoying branches that were overhanging the path too much. Walking was pure poetry all the time, warm at the top too, I didn't need gloves. Today only a handful of people here, I saw two at the top too, no skiers or ladies.
