Some went already today, they said it was gorgeous, in the morning it held, then it sank deeply.

Hey, Yesterday I was at Kredarica - yipiii, via Krma. Road drivable to parking. Started still in the dark, but morning already fully warm and snow to the top held quite well anyway. Weather a bit cloudy, but still super nice. Back was fun and "fight" with snow, a little on the butt, a little on the knees... SUPER

At Kredarica it's already lightly snowing, at +1 degrees Celsius. Cheers!

Old company I'm interested if someone has been recently to Kredarica from the Krma direction and what the conditions are like. Cheers.

There's always someone. The path from Krma to Kredarica is dry with some small snow patches below Kredarica, which pose no problem; otherwise, beautiful yellow larches in Upper Krma. To the top, mandatory crampons and ice axe; today there was complete calm at the top.

Triglavski I would need one piece of information. Is there anything special on the road to Krma? I have a lower car. Thanks in advance.

The road to Krma is normally drivable for any car, but you need to watch out at some places because of potholes. I got there normally with a Volvo.

Thanks for the info. I tried it today and it went. At Kredarica it's a fairytale.

Well, Sunday was ideal for visiting Kredarica from Krma. Weather was craaaazy, no cloud, full warm . Path dry and even on Triglav they "strolled", namely from Planika, as from Kredarica it's iced and I saw no one going that side?! Great day, really super!

Hello, This or the next weekend I plan to visit Kredarica. (Pokljuka - Kredarica - Pokljuka, in one day). In the car I have three free seats, is anyone interested? Departure MB. Best regards to all, UROŠ (070 841 816)

Sounds nice, summerly... To Kredarica usually one approaches from Voje valley or Krma, where they plow and hikers tread. Crossing Tosca is most often exposed (avalanches), especially with gusts of north winds and new snow forecast for the weekend. Without a trodden path, walking times are two to three times longer! Approach from Rudno polje is still longer than from Krma. If there are more of you (changing lead), the path may be doable. In case of snowshoeing solo, forget the return to Kredarica.

Yes, right, let's go from Krma or Voje. I always walked from Pokljuka or through the hole, true only in dry conditions. Condition-wise I am very prepared (end of this September I set my new personal record from Pokljuka to Aljažev tower 4.30h !!!). From Krma valley I haven't walked yet.

I'll wait a bit for the snow cover to reach the valleys. With Grivel snowshoes I go up or with plastic, in case of a made path. Your times are not bad. Well, in winter I take 4.30 h for a leisurely walk to Kredarica from Krma. Once from Tamar to Jalovec (NW ridge) - 2.45 h. Nice tour, cheers!

The weather was wonderful, so it would have been a sin to wait. I used the only normal approach myself, so car to Krma, then cheerfully up. Below Mali Polje snow begins, so walking is more comfortable, at the new Pastirski stan (it has a small bivouac behind) it's real winter, which intensifies with altitude. To Kredarica 3 hours and 15 min, there Danica and Janez are already waiting for me, we gear up with crampons and ice axes and to the top. Conditions ideal, on Sunday Pretepač had already pulled steps up, then a few more after him consolidated them. Views wonderful as always, even to the sea. Since we are all members of Prijatelji Triglava, we quickly dealt with the summit and descended to Kredarica, where Janez's minestra was already waiting, which went down nicely, then just under two hours to the valley and to Psnak for a well-deserved drink.

Triglavski, really great. The path is very well trodden, views (sea) fantastic! Franjo from Mojstrana (legend), I think after consultation, no longer goes up every day. With nice weather, I'll go too to see the Triglav kingdom. Nice greetings!
