Today I was on Križevnik, beautiful larch colors, clear weather without a cloud, path quite easy to follow.
But around 9:00 about 30 meters before the pasture fence (where the direct path from planina Ravne joins the one coming from the end of the road by the pasture fence) I lost gray-brown sunglasses. On the way back, the glasses were gone, but I met many hikers today on the path. I ask the honest finder to send me a private message. Thanks!

27.9.2018:
We started the tour just a little before eight at the parking lot above the Pečovnik farm in Robanov kot. Due to large piles of wood we could barely see the trail across the Bela stream to Govčeve travnike on the other side. The bridge over it is already completely rotten and can't be used anymore. Soon we were already grunting up the steep slope on the wooded ridge towards Turnica. On the saddle below it I recalled memories of our ascent to it with Milan. Right from the saddle we entered the ridges towards Križevnik. The lower part is overgrown with sparse mixed forest, on the right the sheer depth above Robanov kot accompanies you all the time. When that's over, we spotted the white walls of bare ridges. The very beginning is well spiced. Access to the ridge is completely vertical. Higher an impressive rock block appeared, we wondered how we would climb over it. For access to the ridge we chose the ascent on the right side, as the left side looked even more vertical. With each climbed meter we only saw how very vertical it is. Higher a nice gully on the left offered itself by which we nicely reached the ridge. The rock block we also nicely overcame. It turned out to be pyramidal. It went nicely for us all the way to the top. Even some chamois let us know of their presence. The ridges are full of everything. From sharpness, nice rock with great holds, to loaded with whatever. The transitions between them are also something special. Throughout the ascent we stuck completely right and thus nicely avoided almost all scree in the upper part. Of course that wasn't easy either, as we were walking more or less above the precipices of Križevnik's walls all the time. Neža exclaimed several times where we were walking. On the eastern summit a large flock of swallows entertained us long with aerial antics. After five hours of great ascent we stepped onto the summit of Križevnik and happily congratulated each other there on the achievement.
To the summit we went without stopping, so here we indulged in long enjoyment. On Neža's suggestion we descended via the hunter's path to Robanova planina. There too it went nicely for us, only legs were more and more tired. So washing them in the trough on the Travnik pasture was very welcome.
We finished the tour at Govec with tasty cheese struklji and debate about hills. The local Matevž also told us something, as he's a passionate mountaineer and knows the home area like his pocket.

I completely agree with #dprapr. Based on what's seen in the photos, this "gymnastics" ended luckily. This time. In my opinion, extremely irresponsible. But I don't want to moralize, but after seeing it I can't remain indifferent.

I hope I didn't make a "mess" out of the nice and demanding tour. It carried me away and I wrote openly what overwhelmed me while watching the recordings. And not only these, but also those from Kanceljnov and the ridge of Mrzla gora.
Once again, Janez, you do great tours and I wish them to you, but climbing fours without protection "cools" me.
I want you to understand this as a well-intentioned warning and nothing else.

But I am of a different opinion. In my assessment Janez is an excellent (co)climber and knows when to protect and when not. I'm almost sure he had some prusik etc. in the bag.

No panic Drago. Even looking at some of your photos sometimes squeezed my heart. There was no four on the tour, but photos often make the thing much more tricky than it is in reality. So it will probably cool you again at some of my photos. I do the swallow-gymnastics only there and then when I feel safe enough. I just like doing them, although they are not some great beauty. Of course thanks for the care and nice words.

Ha, ha, Janez, you're good.
If I'm honest, I'm more worried about your climbing partners than about you. Us old ones are no longer a pity, as we'll soon be written off. With the four I meant that one in Kanceljne, and also that one to the third tower on the Mrzla gora ridge. Probably not less or at least close.
But this Križevnik ridge I haven't seen live yet, have to once.
I wish you many more nice ascents and no hard feelings.

JTrogár, congratulations. Thank God there are still such people who fearlessly go to the mountains. I personally don't understand all that "self-belay" gear and similar exaggerations regarding danger. Whoever fears steeps and rocks should go to Šmarna gora.
Excellent and praised for raising the youth in fearlessness.
The basis of safety in the mountains is experience, not such or other mechanization.

dprapr, where do you get "fours" from? On the pics everything is less than three. (Which is already very serious, but only psychologically. With sufficient experience, the rope really isn't needed.)

Nice tour, adrenaline pics: from the safety gear I see that they had duct tape . And on Šmarna gora there are also rocks and steeps (Westrova, Pogačnikova).
