Today along the ridge to the summit. I descended a bit along the marked path and entered the hunter's trail that crosses the slopes under Krofička and reaches the marked path from Škrbina. Whoever doesn't get lost on this hunter's trail was probably a hunter in a previous life. velik nasmeh

I got lost twice today… nasmeh

Today I went via hunter's path to Krofička, over cables ok, then traverse across meadows to about 1900m, there was a little guy, right gully and scree, impassable, then straight up into rocks and somehow to the top. Hunter's path in my opinion.

Yesterday I headed to the unfortunately somewhat remote but magnificent corners of our beautiful country. For the first ascent of this interesting mountain, I took the marked path from Razpotje. Through the tunnel, over the slippery rocky path, markers and flowers led me to the hut with breathtaking views of rocky horizons. The steepness doesn't let up but you overlook it while falling in love again with the views ahead.
The path is nicely secured as predecessors have written, interesting and non-negligible steps full of scree require caution. Otherwise, wonderful path, wonderful mountain and wonderful world nasmeh

Today I was on Krofička on the marked trail. One part of the cable is still under snow, the other is ok. Good luck

Today to Krofička.
Along the marked path I go above the forest line, then over stones and along dwarf pines to the saddle between Travnik and Krofička on the ridge. From the top I descend along the marked path. The snow tongue at the cables is not small, I descend it with an ice axe. It's more comfortable than over the debris around.
Steep to Jama, where in good company I sit longer than usual. At the end I also walk in the direction of Zgornja Jama, through a fairy-tale forest, to the beautiful shoes. Blindly I return to the marked path. Nice trip.

Up the hunter's path to the top, descent on the marked one. On the hunter's path the cables are a bit more rickety, the most important in the chimney is still the old one…OK. From Zadnji travnik to the other side we climb over the notch and continue along the ridge to the top.

Today I was on Krofička from the Logarska mountain hut. The path is dry except a little below the summit where there are cables; there's still a snow tongue that you have to go around. I went up it at the cables because it's still hard; it's risky to cross without an ice axe. But the tongue leads straight into the abyss.

14.8.2026 Krofička
Today with my son to Krofička. Son last walked the ridge and stood on top of Krofička 18 years ago. High time for a repeat.
We climbed to the top from Dom planincev past Klemenčeva jama. Water at the trough only in drops. To the top no special features. After a short rest on top we set off along the ridge towards Travnik. There we treat ourselves to a somewhat longer rest. Two hikers pass by who climbed via Črni hribar. We continue along the ridge and in the dwarf pines we look for the descent gully to the hunting path. Along it back to the marked path that leads to Krofička. At Klemenča we don't stop but descend into the heat of the valley. We look for refreshment in the Savinja at Igla (the watch showed +15C). Refreshment for the soul then in the buffet with mugs of Laško.
