From the ridge I descended before Travnik to the lower marked path and after about 100 meters (here the marked turns sharply right and down) continued almost horizontally to the hunting trail that wraps around the slopes below Krofička. And it, as I wrote, drops to the path coming from the direction of the junction to Kopinškova path, which is a bit higher.
That's on the Logarska side of course. nasmeh

Today up the hunting trail, down marked. No more snow patches, just one small one on marked near the cable, which is exposed but no problem. Cables on hunting trail solid for unmarked path.

Yesterday up the marked path, the wind was pleasantly cooling. On the way back it was hot even in the shade.

Yesterday to Krofička via the notch and descent via the marked path. Path, except poor steps on Puklovec and some broken terrain on the marked below the summit, without features.
Morning was fresh 6 degrees. Didn't take photos much. Nice day and Krofička wonderful as always! For me one of the nicest mountains around here!

Today 7:00 from Dom planincev to Krofička. Air is fresh, but I warm up quickly. At Klemenča cave Brko tells me that Blaž and Karla went towards Krofička ahead of me this morning, so footprints are there. Over loose scree I step onto Puklavec, where sun is already shining nicely. North side of Krofička still deep in shade and snow starts soon. Didn't use crampons, but without ice axe I wouldn't go. Higher I meet Blaž and Karla descending. We chat a bit and onwards. Snow persists to the top of chains and will for some time. Summit is nice. Behind me four more reached the top whom I met on descent. Descent already wet. At the hut in good company time stands still.

Here and there the foot sinks into the snow, sometimes the whole leg.

...the last difficult section, snow here is the best.

27.7.2023 Krofička
The paths are well washed out. From Klemenča to Puklovec it looks like the path is abandoned. On the ridge nothing new, normally passable. The descent back to the marked path is increasingly masked and difficult. At Klemenča water is not flowing into the trough. In the morning +4°C.

Travnik 2029m

From Logarska dolina past Klemenča cave along the marked path towards Krofička the majority of the tour follows.
When we reach the ridge of Krofička we will notice two marks on the rock. Here we leave the marked path and plunge into pathless terrain to the east. We have the wall always on the right, on scree we help with holds on the rock or bushes on the other side... Travnik is always visible on our left (east)
when we reach the ridge west is Krofička, our summit is on the left side east.
Ridge overgrown, passage can be followed.
On summit grassy carpet and big cairn awaits us. Good luck

15.7.2024 Krofička ridge
Today I noticed your description "kolosej". By chance yesterday I repeated the same as you did last year.
While ascending the marked path I noticed Krofička summit in fog (as well as some others nearby). It didn't seem sensible to climb it and I looked for a shortcut to the ridge. The described variant seemed best to me, just I feared the bushes (haven't read your variant until today).
Like you, I looked for holds by the wall where there was scree. And happily climbed to the ridge. Due to fog I barely oriented where I was? When it cleared a bit, I recognized left Travnik and everything was clear. Along the ridge I continue to Utam and then descend to hunters' path.
Then only descent to Klemenča for beer and return to Razpotje where I started. Hot day.

Today from Dom planincev hut upwards. Nice path, I was surprised how long we were in the forest. The summit part isn't really for the vertiginous...
But, at the first chain the marking is done so it leads us off the chain to the right where there used to be a chain but now only pegs... even more dangerous on descent when we first spot the marking then right to the top of the chain...
Krofička is really a fun thing... Recommend!

Flowers and pitons a little below the summit.

There is no room for more people at the summit...

It's hard to write about the loop around Krofička, because it's simply too beautiful and unique. You can easily fall in love with this mountain when it lets you get closer, and once there, it doesn't let you go easily!
The tour itself is a great conditioning, orientation and technical challenge for a steady step! Technical mainly due to terrain configuration, as slip and fall are not welcome in this beautiful and robust world. On the sunny side sun can tire you, on shady damp grass, rocks, and roots.

More than a dozen chamois, from smallest to largest, watched me, and jumped with me for hundreds of meters, of course discreetly, at safe distance.
Mists gently floated between and on Križivnik ridges, my being swallowed by solitude of this universe's fullness.
Letting yourself be is a blessing!

4.6.2025 Krofička Ridge
Parked at Dom planincev. The higher we climb, the warmer it gets. At Klemenča we take a short break and some nutritional supplements. Towards Škrbina it's getting really hot. SE wind isn't that strong and refreshes us at moments during steep ascent. A bit more and the torn pegs on the hanging rope joyfully jingle. Soon at Zadnji travnik. We break through the scrub belt and on the ridge. Easily scramble to the notch in the ridge separating SE part from NW part. A bit trouble finding passage and bypass notch. Back to ridge past Dolfi's stand and on Krofička summit. Catch breath, quench thirst and continue along ridge to Travnik. Don't stay long at Travnik. On to gully down to hunter's path. Part of team wants to visit shepherd hut under Utami. Stanko and I hide in shade and don't envy their visit, we have better views. When team gathers continue on hunter's. Find passage and on marked trail. Over Puklovka past collapsed wooden steps zmeden

down to Klemenča. Hut closed and satisfy with water trickling in sips through alkatenka from upper gully. Hot!
In real summer heat descend to Planinski dom for well-deserved beer. 10km and a bit over ten hours. Snow no obstacle. Wind not too strong, just blew caps off two participants into Roban on ridge velik nasmeh
