Yesterday group trip to the summit from Logarska Valley. Already at the start signs directed us to the lower parking lot, which was full at 7 a.m., as works are underway at the main parking lot. The path to Okrešelj is fairly passable, consequences visible, at the spring part of the path washed away and they made a not-so-great detour. The path onward from Okrešelj is damaged in places. Climbing section protections and rock ok, more markings especially for descent wouldn't hurt.

This time from Jezersko via Slovenska. Excellent choice. Nice scrambling in ideal conditions.
Alone at the top. Lifted the shallow lid of summit log box, saw moldy booklet inside and closed it back. On return met five more people, two nice conversationalists among them.

Today first time, surely not last, from Belska Kočna.
Due to past stomach virus carefully chose goal - Krnička gora, but trip extended to Mrzla gora.
Hiked without issues!

one more jump and we are on the NE ridge

Descending on the marked path. I have enough, Matic jumps over Mrzli vrh and to Storžek. At Savinjsko sedlo I catch my breath, then slowly down. Before Prestrelaše Matic already catches me :)

Today to this beauty from Logarska. nasmeh

Lots of snow above Okrešelj, provided express descent. For ascent used old bypass avoiding Prag, dry up top. Ice axe and crampons mandatory to first belay. From there used only ice axe twice. Most of climbing dry.
Today had this part of my favorite mountains to myself. nasmeh

The weather forecast for yesterday was super, the actual weather was even better. Cloud base above the highest peaks, finger-licking temperature, some wind only on the return from Okrešelj to Kamniško sedlo and on it, otherwise a divine day. I met people on all paths, most in the climbing section to the saddle, where I had to first overtake the Croats' bus group, then I met a larger compact crowd descending.
At 5:30 I park right before the nonsensical traffic sign at Jermanci. No extra gear needed for the tour, with a light backpack I reach tea at the hut in a good hour. I change t-shirts and descend to Okrešelj amid rare short raindrops, no stop at the 'hut under construction'. At the end of the clearing, the sign saying 3.5h to Mrzla gora annoys me. Don't know who's responsible for the sloppiness. My watch showed 1h35. Consequences of recent storms visible everywhere, path rerouted several times. At the top I photograph the surroundings, only for this action would the sun have been welcome, as the pics are quite dark. I descend mostly butt-sliding, knees suffer much less that way. Tourist crowd in the buffet at Okrešelj, I leave amid the lively buzz after a cold beer and a good sandwich. On departure I spot the sign that surprises me again - Kamniško sedlo 1 hour. Wrong world. At the hut I barely match the written time zmeden

Windy there, they ask about Brana, no mood to explain I wasn't there and that one goes to the mountains in the morning...
At Kamrca the wind dies, I fill up with cold water at the little pool. Drive home to KB real torture, road in extremely bad condition. Good it was wife's higher car, no undercarriage damage.
I arrive at son-in-law's birthday celebration just when the čevapčičiči are on the grill... nasmeh

Early hour - golden hour. At half past nine already at the top of the mountain.

At least fifty times a year I see today's mountain from Gradišče across Kamniško sedlo.

On the horizon Kranjska and Koroška Rinka, and Skuta.

Fantastic Košuta with Stol and Jezerska Baba.

Storžič with Ledinski vrh and Storžek in the foreground.

Towards SE. In the middle the valley Matkov kot.

Farewell to the mountain, which was not cold at all today.

...which will already be completely moss-covered at launch.

Yes, this nice tour will remain in my memory for long anyway, as I can't dispel the thought that I was probably one of the last to meet the deceased young guys.

@lijaneja, on the sign to Kamniško sedlo it seems to say more than 1h, but it's damaged. On that one to Mrzla gora it really says 3h30, which is interesting because the sign a bit lower says 2h30.

Well, that's closer to the time, it applies of course to a group of hikers in average conditions (weather, season).
New signs supposedly in the works, I hope the timings are more realistic.

Since it's been a really looooong time since I was on Mrzla gora from Matkov kot, today I decide to visit from that side.
Noticed the path below Škaf is badly destroyed, and also above it, the section crossing the new gully is quite messed up. zavijanje z očmi
