Maybe with some other fly agaric, but with poisoning from the red fly agaric death is very rare. In case we didn't consume a heaping cupful, the ibotenic syndrome will pass on its own after a few hours of euphoric sweating and vomiting. With special parboiling methods it becomes quite nicely edible, but then the question quickly arises where the sense in such chores lies?
