I have a technical question. Usually I don't pick mushrooms that I don't know. Today we went to the forest with the kids and they found two chanterelles and two "chanterelles", which are really yellow underneath, have grooves, but it bothers me that they are dark on top. One whole and one brown, like speckled. Not like fly agarics. Is this a variant or a cousin that will poison us?
