New Year's Eve in the mountains

In this topic I don't know if there are 5 posts dedicated to the topic... on Uncle Google there is plenty of info on hut rentals, New Year's Eve in huts, various offers. You just need to google it. Have nice celebrations wherever you will be with whomever you will be on whatever you will be.

Interesting that the biggest "know-it-alls" are those who registered just a few days ago or change name for every post and re-register, which anyone can easily check by viewing the profile of the individual registered. So the name is new but the same stupidities continue. This includes those who haven't managed to post even one picture so far, let alone any useful description, not to mention providing current conditions which are obviously Spanish village to them since most would like everything on a platter and preferably immediately when they post their apt or inept question. As for my repeating descriptions, probably most aren't interested. But I'll stick to the rule that if I can be useful to one I won't look at a hundred others who aren't interested because they are more active, more experienced, broader and know more. In the end I'm surprised that on the page under "Abroad" section I'm a lone rider; if I add those posts I sometimes wrote under nickname "triglavski" I can calmly say it's 90% mine. Now I don't know if you others are so narrow-minded that your view doesn't reach beyond Rateče or you selfishly keep your feats to yourselves and those who know almost everything about everything and everyone and butt in exactly into that about which you so fervently write that it doesn't belong on the forum. Waiting for opinion of Tadej and Rok if they have it.

Igor, you don't need opinion of Tadej and Rok. The whole story is called *Dogs bark, caravan moves on* Whoever regularly reads these forums already knows where to place whom including all one-day flies. You are unique but credible and already kind of inventory of these pages. And you're not the only one anymore. More and more permanent names here contributing their part. The rest as they are ... Does anyone maybe know which mountain huts will organize New Year's Eve this year? My wife and I would go to welcome the new year somewhere in the mountains this year but I have no data yet on where it will be possible. I believe many of us think similarly lp Emil

There is almost no hut that is accessible also in winter (mid-mountains) that wouldn't organize New Year's Eve too. Every year they organize New Year's Eve at Dobrča, Kriški Roblek, Komna, Koča pod Bogatinom,... Best to just inquire at some mountaineering club that has a hut up to about 1500 m.

Maybe you'd go to Kofce, then call 041751201. If you decide for Dom pod Storžičem, then call Mr. Markič Markota. This year probably New Year's Eve also in the newly built mountain hut at Zelenica. There you'll meet Mr. Klajnista, who serves you in summer months at Dovga Njiva.

What about New Year's Eve in high mountains? Like Kredarica or something? Probably Kredarica is the only one "open" or is there something similar? And, what are you thinking, will you for NY be somewhere on the hill or rather in the valley?

I'll add one more destination for New Year's Eve. We just reserved in the hut at the source of Završnica. PD Žirovnica will have it posted on the website tomorrow. Approximately 15 spots are still free. I got this info about an hour ago.

Nice greetings to everyone! The year will soon be around again, so I'm interested where we would have such a hribi.net New Year's Eve this year, like we had last time on Uršlja gora, where we had a great time . So, last year's group (Anja, Marta, Jože, Jovita and the rest...), do you already have something planned for this year? To avoid misunderstanding, other hribi.net portal users can gladly join us, because I'd like to meet some of you. If we haven't managed to organize a meeting yet, I hope we'll celebrate New Year's Eve together in as large a number as possible somewhere in the mountains. I know it's a bit utopian to expect to gather in the largest possible number, but it would be nice. Now let's get the suggestions out, where in the mountains to celebrate New Year's Eve this year Nice greetings, Blaž

I won't go to the hills/mountains/highlands with anyone anymore...it doesn't make sense, instead of some atmosphere, fun, help, advice it ends up just the opposite.

I can't put that word "no one" in quotes and it's not right to generalize everyone who goes somewhere for New Year's Eve, watches fireworks from a nearby hill and that's it.

You're right yeah, no generalizing, I should have used quotes... next time no Otherwise, if a person thinks a bit it's just as equal a day or night to other days or nights in the year, what longest night of the year, please, people make too much fuss about this longest night of the year. In bed by ten and that's it, and in the morning you're fresh, rested and ready for some easy New Year's hike, what more could you want

@ljubitel gora, I advise you to lock yourself in the cellar and start getting used to underground life. Up here you're just causing trouble anyway.+
