Was yesterday with colleagues on Ogradi. Nice, varied tour. About the views, no need to waste words

Is that the condition of the usual path Blato - V Lazu on the last photo?

Yes... unfortunately. The path from the junction to pasture at Jezeru onwards, a couple hundred meters long, due to logging completely destroyed. Over deep mud a smaller log is laid, allowing passage to the other side of the bog. Higher up then, the path is fine. Regards

Thanks! If only a couple hundred meters, it'll somehow be ok . Still nice if one is prepared...

Hi, does anyone know how to find the path from Jezerce pasture to Lazovski saddle? So far on internet found unclear tips...

When you come from Krstenica direction to Jezerce pasture keep more to the left. Path almost horizontally bypasses the pasture and is easily traceable. Don't understand how anyone could have problems here. Regards

I found it easily the first time, there were cairns, the path also visible. Last year I was there during the peak growth, which hid the cairns; the path was probably less visible also because the dense shrubbery had destroyed the direct paths to Krstenica, which were closed, and probably fewer people went towards Lazoviški preval too. So it's not always the same (easy) . But if the direction is clear to you, you'll find the passages too.

Three weeks ago I walked there, didn't see any cairn, went somehow in the right direction to the overgrown path on the slope. A little below the pass there are two old markings (?)

Today to Ogradi from Blato pasture. A bit before Laz pasture turned right and then up the hill. On the top last 200m crampons mandatory, snow is crusty. Path not made. Summit full of chamois. On the way back met two more hikers, that's it. Probably we were the only ones up today. First we went down same path then continued to Krstenica pasture, where we didn't find some path called Bušnica. You can see this path on the route map. Since we couldn't find it we continued on a slightly longer path that loops a bit to Blato pasture. I'd like to add, to the summit it took us 3h 40min. Here on hribi.net this path has time 2h 45min. Don't know if I'm that slow or the time is wrong.

Short report of the other yesterday's group: https://www.mojstr.si/2020/01/idealne-razmere.html We two took good three hours to the top. From my experience in winter often takes a bit more than in summer - slipping on ice, heavier winter boots, some step that gives way, fiddling with crampons etc. take their toll. But speed was never my virtue, so not the most reliable for these estimates.

Super report and pics. Without poles on the way back must have been quite tough I agree, yes, in winter goes a bit slower, especially if searching for path in between. We were first time in these parts. Probably in summer really possible under three hours.

Road to Blato pasture normally drivable (no toll). Up the steep towards Laz pasture higher ice starts appearing on path. Just above pasture turn right and go to Ogradi. On top a bit windy, lower not. Nice views, met some, snow softened a bit during afternoon.

Finally, the wish is fulfilled, first time on Ogradi and that in July. Nice company, together seven, of which six female hikers and one male hiker. We started at the Blato pasture to Krstenica. Along a nice path to the Jezerca pasture. Then steeply on an unmarked but traceable path towards the ridge. The last part to the summit even more carefully. On the summit joy, snack, views...towards Stogi, Adam and Eve, Škekdnjovcu, Kanjavec, Vernar and Tošč and of course Debelem vrh. Triglav has been hiding in the fog for us in the last days, unfortunately. We also saw Kredo and Slatno, Vogle...Edelweiss and other flowers more than ever. It's a pity there was no blue sky, it even started to drizzle, so we carefully descended towards the Laz pasture and then to Blato. All grateful to the alpine flower that smilingly led us, despite not such a short break...

Yesterday, 19.7.2020, on the path from Ogradi towards the Laz pasture, I found glasses. If someone misses them, they can get them from me, tel. 040 664 653. Best, J
