Today, 14.8. at Ogradi. Learned about this peak by chance on this forum and it attracted me right away, thanks for all info! Started with free bus at 6am, Senožeta parking already full at that time, bus too, but runs extra as needed to road near Blato. From Blato found hunting path to Krstenica (lower part marked with spray on rocks), upper part several new tracks, but followed most trodden path in right direction and found hunting hut and planina. From wonderful Krstenica towards pl. V Lazu to junction marked for Ograde. Almost to ridge always in shade. From here path through luxuriantly blooming meadows, only last slope under summit challenged us, but really worth it - today really clear views all around, hooray! And alone almost one hour at summit, cow bells from below ... Edelweiss still nice, gentians old. Later summit got more visitors, otherwise met only one hiker whole way from Blato to Ogradi (except Krstenica). Descended same path to junction and went to pl. V Lazu, had chat and refreshment at hut. Circled via also solitary path to pl. Pri Jezeru and rushed to bus back to Blato. A bit hot today ... p.s. Water can be refilled at all three planinas (Krstenica, V Lazu and Pri Jezeru).

On Tuesday, like many others, we took advantage of the sunny, especially warm autumn weather and from Blato went to Krstenica, from there via Jezerca to Lazovski preval and on to Ogradi. I forgot that the north approach is quite steep, the initial gully quite loose, and below the summit there are some exposed spots. When you have a young dog not used to such terrain, you're worried and actually see everything with different eyes. Blue and Nessy did more than excellent; I had the most trouble myself At the summit we took more than two hours' break, as the weather was too nice for a (too) quick return to the valley. We returned via pl. V Lazu. There weren't many visits to Ogradi, but quite a few people in these parts, which are really worth visiting at this time, as autumn nature is the most beautiful, not to mention the glowing golden-yellow larches

Polona, I know the path and that it's not just any path or for everyone. This two-hour break at the summit—that's something I haven't experienced for a long time, but I know it's great! Definitely a nice trip!

Ločanka, you're right. Well, then another gentleman came behind us with a Belgian Shepherd. Obviously they didn't have any problems either. I like to take a break, especially when the weather is so nice and I have the whole day, and I wasn't in a hurry to get back to the valley. And we even hummed another verse

Enka, nothing, it's still standing, just a bit lower. On top there's a smaller one, in memory of the parish priest who passed away last year.

What's the comment on the conditions? From the photos it doesn't look all that great...

There's still quite a bit of snow, I'd say at least a meter on top, and at least half a meter below. The path to the pasture in Laz was well trodden but it was still sinking in. I put on gaiters pretty quickly. At the junction for Krstenica pasture there was just one person's track, just enough to follow to the foot of the Ogradi, where the junction is. Without those footprints, I definitely wouldn't have found it. The path to Ogradi is well followable until you hit the snow. Then you make it yourself . Given that I made at least an approximate track, I'd recommend it. Good tour before the summer season.

Has anyone been in the direction of Ogradi, Adam and Eva? My plan for tomorrow is from the hut at Savica via Komarča and that part of the Alps to Vodnikov dom.

In the end I went from Rudno polje. Some Swiss came from Blato to Vodnikov dom, said there's no snow. But this is a photo from Tosca.

Hello! Another successful trail that showed magnificent views. Here you have a video if you want to watch it and maybe decide easier if you're properly prepared for such an ascent. I was also lucky as all the alpine flowers were blooming! Safe steps. https://youtu.be/m0r03kNK8V0
