NIGHT ASCENT TO PECA
In the center of Crna we started walking at 22h. Three km asphalt, then steeply up the hill in Pristava. Trail in cloudy weather still dry. Deep breathing from effort disturbed by mosquitoes. At the hut wring out sweat-soaked strap, few sips and continue to the top. Due to fog and wind below summit put on windbreakers. At top few photos and descent to Kumr. Here first properly soaked intermittently. Then to Kumr no more rain, wet ground and wet grass cause some slips.

On Saturday 8.2. on traditional winter hike to Peca. From Mitnek to Tomaževa hut dry, a bit above hut snow starts and soon ice. Morning quite slippery. From hut to saddle below Mala Peca in shade icy, from saddle to top first dry then icy, so put on crampons. At top some wind and beautiful views all around. Back with crampons to hut. Short stop and then continue with crampons to Tomaževa hut, though already a bit soft. Weather gorgeous - practically cloudless and (too) warm for the season. Quite some hikers on path, though fewer (mostly Carinthians - due to multiple hikes same day...) than previous years.

Peca practically no snow. Just some patches, not dangerous. Via ferrata path no snow, exit from climbing section has some little snow...

Today parked by the road at 1100m. Steep up the slope, past Tomaževa hut and Dom, to the hunters' path. Along it over Železnega to Gladki žlih. Through it to the top.
Descent via ferrata. No snow anywhere, road to Jakobam in desperate state.
Sun… when next time.

DVas returned from Planina Luža to Topla last year via pink-marked path. I'd like to do this loop and I'm interested in how traceable the path is and how long it takes.

I visited from Topla all two-thousanders in Peca range, detoured to panoramic restaurant at ski slope and back to path. Returned via Luža, path is traceable. It came to 30 km and about 2100 m elevation gain. Altogether it took me about 8 hours.
