Days are the longest, so I decide on a slightly longer hiking tour. At five I start at Calcit and on my most walked path towards Primož my legs are heavy, since I never hike here in summer in boots, with backpack and even ice axe. Good that I was early and there were no hikers yet, so I was spared strange looks at my gear. Walking in the morning freshness was a pleasure, I wished for a stop with tea at Domžalski dom, but the doors were still locked. I walk through Gradišče, where there's now a construction site, and continue towards the pastures Konjščica, Dol and Rzenik, where I take a short break at Mlakarjeva bajta. I put my clothes to dry in the sun (which were completely dry in fifteen minutes), I unload a large piece of blueberry strudel from the backpack so the weight is more rationally distributed.
Walk through the bushes to Konj, where I take a few more photos and descent to Presedljaj, which has become very overgrown, but the via ferrata cables are all in perfect order. I approach the spring with apprehension, but it's nicely flowing, someone even tuned a pipe for it and I easily refill my water supply. At Korošica it's sad, besides the guy going to Ojstrica, another couple stops. I change into long pants and sleeves, the sun burns mercilessly, so I decide to skip Ojstrica, which was also planned. For Planjava I choose the upper path via Škarje, snow up to there wasn't a big obstacle yet. Further on I had to stow the poles, as the ice axe was really useful despite the surface rotten snow. The snow tongues, especially under Sukalnik are so steep that I advise everyone against visiting this mountain for at least another two weeks. At Kam. sedlo I change back to short clothes, have a snack and quench thirst, and descend slowly into the valley. 2700 elevation gain, sun, and also the difficulty of the path in some sections did their thing. I had huge luck right at the end of the day, as I run into a young, friendly Styrian couple who take me from Jermanca to the car in Stahovica.
