Due to objective reasons, the Podvežak planina trip is cancelled - instead Kamniški vrh and a visit to the Koroška waterfalls!

I was at Dovških vratcih, trudged like an idiot, was totally soaked, had to walk from Močilnik. If looked at it that way it was pure misery, but it was one of the nicer days in the mountains...just a bit too warm

I think great caution is needed in the mountains right now, wherever you're going. This morning I was at Ljubelj, counted more than 6 avalanches on the whole path to the hut, and they're still triggering. Interesting mainly that the slope isn't too steep, but below there's grass and forest, so it suddenly cracks and rolls down into the valley.
So this level 3 probability can be deceptive, since there's too much snow to hold already in this part at 1200m above sea level. How it is elsewhere I can't claim, I just know what I saw today.

Today my buddy and I were almost at Stol and then turned back due to slogging to our knees and collapsing and avalanche risk, and slight weather worsening.

Today I went to Kranjska Reber and it was super. Snow on north slope up to a meter too, on south half less. On top grass is already showing a bit.

We're going to Križevnik - Veliki Vrh

I too initially planned to go to Križevnik, but it'll wait for some day next week! On Sunday Skuta falls!

Križevnik is well visible from Strelovca. This tour just without Križevnik, from the same starting point we wanted to hike in August, but on Planina Polšak we missed it, and searched for some time to reach the marked path from Planina Ravne to Korošica and then continued to Velika Zelenica or Veliki vrh. This tour still tempts me, as you walk the ridge over Poljske device, Moličko peč and then over the saddle to the top.

With a friend who'll also be there tomorrow, we did the ridge traverse cca. 25 years ago. To Križevnik we climbed from Robanov kot, where we also overnighted. They told us about the path at Roban's.
Colleague later (cca. 4 years ago) searched this path with grandson, but didn't find it. I doubt if anyone knows it??
I remember it for extreme steepness and finally easy climbing in the gully and then struggling through scree (avoided wall edge).
If anyone knows the path from Roban??
Tomorrow from Planina Ravne.

Yeah, this path is really wonderful, just the shepherd hut probably closed, at Planina Polšak need to go right, we went left and ... maybe if conditions [are right] it even pulls me to Ojstrica.
