Yesterday 28.6.14 on Prisojnik. Via J path and part via Jubilee path, where it was necessary to cross 4 snowfields! You can't afford a fall here! On descent met 10 foreigners who went the same path to the top!

I don't know what the condition is.. But at the start I saw that 2 hikers turned towards the ridge. On the top we met, but I didn't ask them anything.. too bad! LP

Pics (and descriptions) you can see if you combine ascent to Prisank via Jubilee path and Razor from Vršič. If you combine both paths from saddle (where paths to Prisank and Razor split) onwards, you get just what you seek.

I'm wondering if anyone hiked this year on Kopiščarjeva and Jubilee paths to Prisojnik. It's clear there is snow and without ice axe and crampons no go. Just how difficult are these snowfields?
probably one snowfield after front window. What about between Prisojnik and last window - more snowfields?

If someone has been there I don't know, there are snowfields, difficulty is subjective. If pictures tell you something, you can imagine what it's like there, what you're asking about.

On Hanz's, the final chimneys can be problematic, on Jubilee with possible snowfield crossings on S side it's all much more exposed... Best regards!

Today new snow surely fell. What do you think Igor how's Kopiščarjeva path. Possible to go there Saturday? Only snowfield under window, or elsewhere too?

From ridge path and Sovna glava can't see whole Kopiščarjeva area, suggest call Frk at Erjavčeva hut, he'll tell you, has info for sure.

Since lots of snow in Julians still, best have winter gear every tour, but wonder if steep snowfield above front window and bypassable? Best and thx.

Since snow fell on warm ground and will melt even more in the coming days, the slip risk is greatly increased, combination of hard old snow with new quite unpleasant! No snow in the Prisank window on the north (deduced from pics of colleague hiker), on the whole Kopiščarjeva still waiting somewhere. No north without gear now.

I haven't been up there, but colleagues went across under the snow bridge without problem, even a guy with quite more than 100kg
