Desire for sunrise gets me on the trail at 2:30... 4:30 at the summit and I simply can't believe how many stars, like in the best summer nights I start at five, so I see the first sun rays when I step on the ridge. The ridge path is almost bare and winter gear IMO not needed. On descent via slovensko two snowy gullies where at least ice axe handy. Hanzova completely snowy, for kopiscarjevo don't know. Otherwise phenomenal tour.

Has anyone been on Vršič, Prisojnik or Mojstrovka to have a pic of the whole Prisojnik? Next weekend I would go on Hanzova path so interested in conditions, any snow patches etc? Thanks a lot for reply.

No question at all. Definitely snowy path, since no sun on Hanzova at all if already starting at Koča na Gozdu.

@kgregor .... just female curiosity. Why do you ask in winter about high mountains whether winter gear is needed? Prisojnik is a demanding tour even in the summer season, even more so in winter. Crampons almost weigh nothing, you clip the ice axe on the outside and when the ice glitters you have everything at hand.
Good luck, however you gear up and head out, always keep in mind that safety comes first. Think also of those waiting at home and those who'll rush to help if something goes wrong.

Maybe I asked the question awkwardly; it was just to check what was written, and my intent was not to go without winter gear, since I always have it in my backpack in winter. I wanted to know if the ridge conditions are as @pikpok wrote, just to approximately familiarize myself in advance, not to skip winter gear. Thanks for the answers.

The path to Prisojnik along the ridge is bare, at maybe five spots you step a few steps on snow (barely a sample). At some places it can be a bit slippery, we had crampons with us just to get them used to the frost (luckily we didn't use them). Descent via Slovenska requires more caution because it's in shade and has a bit more snow, at two spots a few meters are icy. If the weather is clear, in my opinion there's no problem, but in case of fog or clouds it can be tricky.

FB post in Hribolazec group, author Zdenka M., copying: PRISOJNIK - maybe useful path conditions info.
PZS guides from PD Posta and Telekom Lj who on Sat 18.6. checked paths to Prisojnik say: "Inspection tour to Prisojnik paths Sat was demanding. Ridge path has snowfield above first window before chains, need ice axe and crampons another 14 days there, else ridge clear. Descent to Slovenska at two gully spots 2x200m very snowy, descend in crampons and with ice axe backwards. South path clear to Mlinarica, further to Razor many snowfields." Safe steps!

Hi. Today we went up the ridge and descended the Slovenska. Sadly didn't check conditions well before so no winter gear. Snowfield above window not an issue, go through "tunnel" snow-rock, else ridge OK. But descent on Slovenska snow in the way, struggled to safely pass dangerous parts. Do not recommend without winter gear. Good luck

On Wed up Ridge (fine) down South. South has snow full gully length. Upper part descend crumbly corridor wall-snowfield (1-2m space), markers occasional. Mid-gully short section easiest snow descent (top snow layer at noon soft, slid even in crampons, but too steep to 'ski' boots), then marked path turns from snow to wall.
