I had enough water, but no description. The downhill was very annoying, because around that "Lope" it is very steep. No rocks, nothing reliable to step on. Very, very annoying. And tons of ticks.

Yes, pinkerton is right. Where you searched for the continuation, you should go left over grass, then in an arc over fallen lojtra to the summit. The path towards the summit really loses itself several times, ticks under Pršivec are the most in Bohinj. Well, in summer snakes sunbathe there too. I have never descended this path myself, always return via planina Viševnik, Black Lake and Komarče.

I longed for the Fužinske planine and used today's great weather forecast for their visit. Started at 7:30 at the bus stop in Stara Fužina via Vogar up to Planina pri Jezeru. Initially I was drawn to planina Laz and on to Ograde, but the day was too short for the planned tour. So I climbed to planina Viševnik and Pršivec, which proved just the right mouthful at the end. Returned the same way, descending to planina Blato and then road to Vogar. Finished in Ribčev Laz, where I caught the bus at 16:48 just in time. Snow started at the lower edge of planina Vogar. First small icy patches on the cart track to the hut and nearly frozen snow, higher on the road nicely whitened and unproblematic for walking. On the trail from planina Vogar to the junction with the path from planina Blato there were several fallen trees, which could be bypassed or climbed over, little snow. Path from planina Blato nicely smoothed, well trodden and without holes, snow mostly firm and pleasant for walking. As gaining height the amount of snow quickly increased, snow cover mostly soft. Only on planina Viševnik a thin crust formed, which did not hold snowshoes. Well packed and smoothed by skiers track leads to planina pri Jezeru toward Dedno polje. Also toward planina Viševnik it was wide and well packed. Further toward Pršivec it was a bit less packed and I tried to smooth it with snowshoes. I was not very successful, as the snow due to its dry softness could not be tamed. On the ascent I put on snowshoes only at planina pri Jezeru and snowshoed with them to Pršivec and back all the way to planina Vogar. There was no real need for them, but it is easier to carry them on feet than on the back. From Pršivec a track also led toward planina Vogar, but in such conditions I did not dare to take it. I preferred to return via the longer and proven unproblematic path. Nice but quite strenuous tour, which passed in complete solitude amid birdsong. For the perfect finishing touch only the sun was missing, which dodged me the whole way. I caught some of it only on planine Vogar, Pri Jezeru and Viševnik, otherwise most of the path was in shade due to the low sun. Only on the top of Pršivec did the day shine in full splendor.

Yesterday our little group was up via hunter's variant and some Hungarians via Vogar. Southern path is of course all dry, over the edge still quite some snow in hollows — almost continuous to planina Viševnik. Snow ends a bit before Črno jezero, before that can cause trouble as many markers hidden. But now all trampled again. Towards Blato snow should end at ramp below planina pri Jezeru. Over Komarča extra gymnastics only at start, bit before wall (from below up).

Continuation of two-day hike Vogel-Pl.Govnjač-Mahavškek-Bogatinsko sedlo-Komna and Komna-Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih-Štapce-Pl.Ovčarija-Pl.Viševnik-Pršivec-Vogar-St.Fužina. First day described here: http://www.hribi.net/trenutnerazmere.asp?slo=1&gorovjeid=1&id=2075 After sunrise at Dom na Komni on 19.10.2014 I headed towards Koča pod Bogatinom and just above it turned towards Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih. The path didn't excite me much and dragged on through mostly viewless terrain. While photographing larches and the last flowers, after three hours I finally reached Dvojno jezero, where a crowd of hikers was basking in almost summer temperatures. Over busy Štapce I planned to climb M. Tičarica too, but at the top of Štapce I realized that my planned hike wouldn't fit timewise. That's how it is when you're dependent on public transport. Hiking freedom is then somewhat limited. But the thought of contributing to environmental preservation is comforting. Between M. Tičarica and Pršivec I chose the latter, as M. Tičarica offered nothing new, and an unknown path from pl. Ovčarija to pl. Viševnik awaited me to Pršivec. The path over pl. Ovčarija is a welcome change from the much busier path over Dedno polje, also for those starting at pl. Blato and passing pl. Pri jezeru. But it is somewhat longer, with more ups and downs; especially the last part descends well to pl. Viševnik, so in the opposite direction a shorter steeper traverse awaits hikers. The path from pl. Viševnik to Pršivec was known to me, but I was surprised by the soggy meadows on the planina and the very muddy path from Majska jama to the top of Pršivec. Thus, the path on the steepest part was quite slippery. At the top of Pršivec I would have loved to lie down in the grass and enjoy the late summer, but time was pressing hard (which I immensely hate), so after a short stop I headed towards Vogar. Ahead of me was an unpleasant descent over the initial steep section, which due to the wetness required even more caution. Due to wet ground, the continuation through the forest wasn't pleasant either. Since the path was known to me, I took enough time for the descent. An unknown section of the path from the end of the road to Vogar to pl. Vogar awaited me. The hiking path already starts descending towards Vogar before the start of the road and, with a mostly gentle traverse descent on a wide track, reaches the planina in a good 0.5 hours of walking. On this part of the path, I rested my legs a bit and gathered myself for the last descent from pl. Vogar to Stara Fužina on a stony and steep track that requires concentration to the last step.

Today Pršivec 100% played the role of an excellent viewpoint. Path from Vogar now trampled, towards planina Viševnik not. In summit area quite some snow and need to watch not to sink too deep, on exposed spots also careful because wet and due to snow hard to see where to step. Recommend gaiters. What views the chamois had, see here http://stezeinsledi.blogspot.com/2014/11/prsivec-1761m.html Happy trails

Stara Fužina – Kosijev dom on Vogar – planina Hebed (or Hebat) – Pršivec – planina Viševnik – Koča na planini pri Jezeru – planina Vodični vrh – planina Vogar – Stara Fužina if it works it will be premiere overall... maybe Saturday... given weekend and maybe soon after snowing (until when?), this loop might still be somewhat trampled?... how much snow?... which part of path needs more care in winter conditions?... probably where map shows steeper, right?... well, if not now then another time. mountain waits. thanks for info.

With such deep snow the planned loop is rarely trodden, locals first just make a track over Pl. pri Jezeru. The whole loop would also be long and strenuous even with a beaten path to Kapljarja. Tomorrow I'm just planning a ski tour to Fužinske planine, to see how far it's still safe to go. Avalanche-prone there are already the high cliffs from which snow can slide, need to know locations of birches along paths, poor network coverage, difficult orientation in fog.

You'll have to wait a bit more for the tour. No proper clear nights with frost this time either, snow is increasingly southern-exposed and soaked and heavy, potentially avalanche-prone anywhere.

@mukica, good morning again, like Saturday at parking in Stara Fužina, where we all were more or less in bad mood, due to road closure. We changed Planina v Lazu to Vogar and were more than satisfied, especially with flowers everywhere... food in hut also excellent. Nice greeting and good luck.
