Yes, after quite some time with delay I'm answering your questionvelik nasmeh, .... the path we walked in winter conditions should not be marked as easy, already in the summer period part of the path is quite demanding, let alone in winter ... but still - beautiful day and nice experience.

Today a short late morning tour above Bohinj Lake. Start from Blato (no tolls anymore) past Planina pri jezeru and pl. Viševnik to Pršivec. On the summit exceptional views all around, sun and very warm. Pršivec was also quite visited today. Back the same path but from pl. Viševnik to Planina pri jezeru via Krištofojca. Larches on the path glow in all their autumn beauty, needles dropping rapidly.
Path except some mud without special features, caution needed due to wet rocks and leaves.

Yesterday,30.10.2016, wonderful hike. Start at Savica, via Komarča to Black Lake, past planina Viševnik, to Pršivec. Descent via direct path past Vogar to the valley. Some slippery rocks in places, so caution won't hurt. Summit logbook at top of Pršivec needs replacing. Nice morning in the mountains.

Does anyone know if the path from Vogar hut to Pršivec is trodden?
like
A.D.K.21. 01. 2017 16:44:22
I haven't walked around there recently, but from past seasons I know this path is rarely trodden. Usually just some individual "wanders" up there...it's more or less deserted this path...

Has anyone been recently to Pršivec from Vogar? What's the path like? Slippery or normally passable? How about markers?

Markers still there, you'll hardly get lost.

Can you advise on the best starting point for Pršivec accessible by bus?
Haven't been in those parts for a long time. Savica unfortunately out due to difficulty over Komarča. Total hike no longer than 6 hours. Feasible at all?

What about from Stara Fužina? Think it would take some 7-8 hours.

You can take the bus to the junction of the road to planina Blato and Vogar (I've already driven along this road behind the bus and also seen parked cars in the vicinity of the mentioned road junction). Continue the path to planina Jezero, from there to planina Viševnik and from there to Pršivec.
This is within the time you wrote. The paths are really easy and not exposed, in short suitable for everyone. There are two mountain huts along the path.

Probably the one to the road junction will be the best. Thanks.

It's been a while since there was a report from a visit to Pršivec.
Yesterday my colleague and I visited it again after three years, this time from the end of the road to Vogar-Pršivec-planina Viševnik- back to the starting point via another path. The day was nice, fresh, not hot, visibility from the top in all directions, and at the top it rewarded us with peace and a gentle breeze, so the feeling was perfect. We had a hard time saying goodbye to Pršivec and the beauties we enjoyed....nasmeh

Yesterday I set off from Stara Fužina via Vogar along the ridge path towards Pršivec. Up to Kosijev dom the path is mostly dry, then the dry patches thin out and around 1200 m they disappear completely. To the junction between Pršivec and Pl. Viševnik someone had already broken trail, but there the trail ends (the road is also untouched). Snow at that point is about 20 cm.
Since I didn't have suitable gear (and no desire to break trail), I turned back too. mrk pogled

Yesterday 24.1. up via Vogar. Snow starts at 1,200 meters. There is quite a bit of fallen trees on the trail. Before the summit on the steep part wind-blown hard snow. The logbook is soaked, probably wind uncovered the summit box. I descended past planina Viševnik to Planina pri jezeru, where darkness caught me.

Fallen trees, orientation, hard snow below the summit - only at 7 pm I was back in Stara Fužina.

On descent I used snowshoes, crampons and ice axe were in the backpack.

On 20.3. I went via Vogar to Pršivec. Snowshoes were needed from Vogar onwards. Before the summit I used all winter gear on the steep part, as it was icy under the hard snow.

At planina Viševnik darkness caught me. I "knew" the descent to Planina pri jezeru, and in my mind was already warming a can of beans and brewing tea, when I realize I've been sent to school. I couldn't find the connection to the Dedno polje-Planina pri jezeru path at all. While searching I was very eager, so I made a couple of loops in the forest and came back to my own track. In the end I had no choice but to return to planina Viševnik and use the upper path, which is very well marked (also by trees).

Does anyone know the conditions from Vogar to Pršivec to planina pri Jezeru via Vodični vrh back to Vogar? I'd like to do this route tomorrow.
