Hello! Given the weather conditions of the past days, I'm curious if anyone has visited Raduha recently, what the conditions are like (on the path and at the summit). Judging by the altitude, it could be snowy... Friendly greetings to everyone and above all GOOD LUCK!

From the south side it's dry, compared to other peaks of that height.

I'm wondering how it is in winter with the road to planina Loka or if it's maintained at all (plowed)? Otherwise I'll go up from the valley!

Hello, I'm interested in how thick the current snow cover is and what the current conditions on Raduha are like.

According to the latest data (20.1.08) snow on summits is windblown, in gullies much more. The path and footprints are made to the top. So just the path under your feet, but with winter gear. Lp

I walked from Radušnik to where the road is clear. The road towards Loke is probably clear up to the Kosmačevih rastk.

I'm interested how passable the road is towards the hut on Grohat and Bukovnik. Is the hut open?

They plow the road after every snowfall. For the hut opening, best ask the warden at no. 041/690-011.

Maybe someone knows how much snow is still on the path from the hut on Loki to the top of Raduha? And if the snow cave is open. Thanks

Hi Medvedka To the hut it's clear, further a bit less, only from the junction for Durce there's still quite some, so need gaiters, and some pics from the top today. Best regards.

Oh yeah, about the snow cave. The new warden is such a caver that you can turn to him for info, on weekends I think they have the hut open.

I'm interested in what condition the road from Črna towards the snow cave is in and how many km from Črna to the footpath junction towards the hut on Loki. Approximately. LP.

17 km excellent forest road to the parking below Koča na Loki, or 19 km to the parking below Snežna jama. Road excellently maintained, well laid and appropriately wide. Excellently marked. Go boldly!!! Nadka

And an addition about the new wardens and hut arrangement. On the second holiday day in May we "conquered" snowy Raduha and spent two nice and pleasant hours in the hut. The warden and husband (cave guide) are joined on weekends by daughter with husband and the team is complete. They even organized May 1st celebration with "live" music. Food excellent, atmosphere right - mountaineering. No complaints if hikers bring their own food and eat it at carefully prepared tables in the dining room. Important only to clean up after themselves and take trash to the valley - as true hikers know!! Highly recommend also to families with small children; mountain fauna and flora experience on nice sunny weather stays forever in memory. On the trail as soon as possible. Nadka, Kamnik

Paths to Raduha are dry, only on the climbing path Grohot-Raduha there is still a remnant of a small snowfield in one gully (14.06.08)
