Hi. I'm interested in that unmarked path that goes from Dovških vratc towards Peklo. Is it a good choice for descent, or is it better to go along the marked one past Staniča?

If you don't want to go to Staniča, this path is definitely a shorter version to the valley.
From the vratc descend about 20 meters, then keep slightly right across the scree and then left to the marked path you can already see below you. Nothing special.

The marker for Kot from Dovških vratca is poorly visible, you have to really look for it. But there are cairns placed and it's easier to find the path. My plan was from Rjavina along the ridge to Staničev dom, but rain caught me and I
turned back exactly onto this more poorly marked path towards Kot.
