I was there yesterday and I confirm. Significantly more demanding than Triglav from Kredarica or Planika. Shortly after Mali Rjavina there is also about two meters of exposed ledge where the cable has obviously ripped and I had to move further back. Experienced mountaineers behind me used a rope there.

Rjavina yesterday from Kot. Studenec still flows. Up Climbing path, down Ridge path. All within normal, loose cable in the traverse in Climbing no issue. Some feel for movement in such terrain is needed. Erosion on the whole path moderate. I agree there is no big difference in difficulty of both paths. Plenty of visitors, same on Vrbanove špice. Triglav queues. In one way, you count them from Stanič on the ridge hu, hu, hu... To get beer (and more) at Stanič, you need a mask. Correct.
On the way back to Kot every 100m elevation more hellishly hot.

Rjavina via J.gully/couloir (13.03.21)

Gorenjska got no drop of precipitation, so fresh snow quite sad. Nice morning promised, but no one anywhere. Along hunting trail past collapsed hut towards Rjavina or Temena. Winter passages much friendlier than summer. Before couloir entrance leave ski gear and climb to 2532m summit. Incredibly nice base. Later skiing down hunting trail fantastic, sun softened top layer a bit. To Radovna with some zigzags peacefully. Great day no crowds.

In the central part of the climbing path there is one snow patch that cannot be completely bypassed, on the very edge there is another snow patch before the ridge, but it can be bypassed. Good luck!

The road is passable as usual. On Saturday already at six in the morning in Lengarjevem rovtu it was packed full of parked cars.

The path is really nice without any problems (14.8.2021) even with a lower car. The path is definitely nicer than to Krma...

Via the south gully (08.01.22)

At around 5:00 parking not full yet (Kurja vas). Kredarica already conquered the day before and four skiers brought down to the valley. The change regarding snow to Malo Polje was mainly that it was more idyllic. Not much fresh snow. From here on, via hunter's we "drew" in virgin snow. Around 30-40 cm fresh. Temp around -13, but warm in the sun. Skiing will be top-notch, without slush. Skis left above the narrow gully part and put on crampons for the 2532m peak. No wind all day. Great base for skiing down.

Rjavina from Kot via very difficult / 12.6.2022

No snow on path anymore, except one (safe) soft patch somewhere after the second hour of walking. We returned via ridge to Dovška vrata, where with a bit of caution one can cross over soft snow to the east and then descend the scree to path from Staničev dom. Chains in super condition, road also OK.

Late afternoon from Kot via climbing path to Rjavina, one small snow patch, crossable without trouble. Rest all dry, aids OK, watch for scree. Warm and almost no wind, descended via ridge. Water still available at spring and higher where it flows more.

Today nice hike with GK Limberk over Teme to Rjavina. Path is normally passable.

Hi! Since it snowed above 2500 on Tuesday night I'm wondering if anyone went via climbing path to Rjavina from 25.10. onwards? Any snow on path? Thaaaanks nasmeh
