What can I say except ALL HONOR and CONGRATULATIONS to all who ran to Grintovec. I was up there on Saturday, dragging myself up to the fog in this heat and thinking the whole way how all runners would suffer in this heat and be able to run at all. You are all winners and congratulations to all!

All congratulations to the competitors and all the numerous other visitors who cheered runners to conquer the top despite the fierce heat. In my opinion Grintovec never had so many visitors! The return to the valley unlike the morning pleasant temperatures was real hell!

This is how my preparations for Grintovec this year went. First Kredarica, rest day. Then in a row Vogel from Ukanc, Grintovec from Kamniška Bistrica and finally Kepa: http://bojanambrozic.wordpress.com/2014/07/20/vogel-grintovec-kepa/

In this week I did a total of 6200 elevation gains.

Finally it worked out for me at Grintovec. The weather held up. Organization was excellent. Thanks to all fans for cheering.
