Signs (crosses and chapels) on hiking trails

Since yesterday on the hike from Doberdob to Brestovica, several churches. But it's interesting that on the entire 15 km hike I saw neither a single chapel nor a cross.

Church from afar in Doberdob. I couldn't figure out to whom it is dedicated. It is dedicated to St. Martin.

Church of St. Leonard in Nova vas - we didn't go closer.

Church of the Assumption of Mary in the village Sela on the Karst.

In Brestovica there are two churches - I managed to photograph only one from afar. One is dedicated to St. Lawrence. I don't know if this is the right one. We didn't go past either one to photograph them accurately.

This little church was to the left, isolated from Brestovica.

Today on the path from Polzela to Oljko mountain.

We came across the stations of the Way of the Cross - no. 3. It seems we joined this path later.

Below station no. 6 there was also this cross.

No. 12. Cross no. 11 is missing somewhere.

No. 13. There should also be a No. 14 cross somewhere, but I did not discover it.

Here is also a point of the St. Martin path.

From a walk to Šmarjetna above Kranj.

On the path these simple crosses appear on the trees.

Yesterday on Uršlja gora.

At this cross, the ironworks path is joined by the path over Kozarnica.

Piotr, nice! In Leše the church is dedicated to St. Ana and Bolfenk. For churches you somehow figure out the dedications. For chapels it's hard. Saints I somehow don't know and so can't figure out to whom they are dedicated.

Yesterday from Izlake to Čemšenik pasture.

The Church of St. George is in Izlake on a hill above the settlement.

On the neighbouring hillock this cross is visible.

Church of the Assumption of Mary in Čemšennik.

The church is closed because it threatens to collapse.

Temporarily equipped with these safeguards so it wouldn't collapse. When it will be renovated is a big question.

Today on a tour from villages Ajdovec-Frata-Dolenji Globodol-Golobinjek-Mirna Peč of sacred objects—crosses, chapels, churches as not for a long time.

Church of the Holy Trinity in the village Ajdovec.

It is interesting that the bell tower stands next to the church.

Church of St. Mary Magdalene in the settlement Dolenji Globodol.

If the churches are open, I also look at the church interior – main altar.

Kramarjeva chapel of St. Joseph in Mirna Peč. Rarely do I succeed in finding out to whom the chapel is dedicated.

From Sunday's trip from Zidani Most to Veliko Kozje and Lovrenc and to Loka pri Zid. Mostu, still before the rain, so the pictures are somewhat worse.

Sign along the path from Vel. Kozje already near Lovrenca.

Polhograjski Dolomiti are a pleasant destination for wandering. We walked from the village Žlebe, over Jeterbenka, Sv. Jakob, village Trnovec to village Ločnica. All that can be seen on the path.
