Matej, since you mention cyclists, yesterday I was a bit surprised when on the descent to Zadnjica we met two foreign cyclists who were confidently riding up the hill somewhere. Of course with e-bikes. The mulatiera as we know what it's like. And don't think they reduced speed at all. Rocks from under the wheels were flying around.

I don't owe you any proof. But I can comfort you, I didn't mean covid and its restrictions for health protection, which were a real balm compared to the current crowd, but precisely former Yugo and its border guards. I had problems with them several times. Either they harassed with endless questions and lecturing (under Peca) or even banned ascent to the hill (Olševa). Not to mention document checks even at Okrešelj. As if we were criminals and not alpinists climbing there.

I don't get it, cyclists riding on mountain paths bother you. But tractors dragging logs every which way and gouging marked paths, turning them into a muddy skating rink, nobody wants to see that behaviour. And when they leave devastation behind after logging. Branches and other debris lie for a couple of months across marked hiking paths (Gajškova pot to Pristava, Jelenkamen from Ukove ....).

I doubt these cyclists are landowners over whose land the marked footpaths run - unlike those tractor drivers in the cases you mention...

Ban cyclists from riding on mountain paths. Amen! That's also the case in Austria. There they can't even ride on forest roads. Not even on their own responsibility.

In our country in the mountainous part there are plenty of abandoned farms, let them buy such a property and set up trails for cycling there!

I agree that cyclists have no place on hiking trails, except where the hiking trail follows forest roads and roads.

Most memorable for me was the encounter with a cyclist on descent through Dolski graben, who additionally wisecracked that hikers destroy the trail more with poles than he with tires, as he elegantly explained to two path markers who were just repairing markings there. Pointless and arrogant, let them stick to roads and STKP.

Thursday, 28.9., was a wonderful day for Špik Hude police. Sunny day without a cloud, which changed exactly at 12 o'clock when I went down from the top. In a minute mists came, thick clouds then persisted, especially on Montaž. Beautiful pasture Pecol and I'll return to these areas.

Ascent to the summit from Špranja via the Hude Polica snowfield and descent to the Montaže high plateau.
Currently ascent from Brazza hut to the summit without winter gear is still not safe. Great danger of spontaneous wet snow slab avalanches.
